heh well, I thought that's just how societies work. Coming together, trying to live together, etc. Gives us a common ground and a way to argue about the best course of action. I guess philosophy is finally catching up =)

I hope you know there's also a contradiction in terms between stopping listening and adhering to standards of reason. Ultimately, if you didn't listen, you don't know what the hell I'm about. I find that very very condescending of you to assume you know my case without listening to it. But whatever. I do not have the time to waste in converting people who don't care for rational procedure to what's obvious.

I have not presumed to know you case, but i have presumed that I would have to listen to the rest of the video to know how you attempt to resolve a glaring contradiction. No thanks, I have better things to do with my time and my reasoning mind.

I certainly take no issue with you having other activities to which you prefer dedicating your reasoning mind. I just thought I'd point out that you were not being reasonable in what you did here with this video, only because you reached out to share what you didn't feel like doing (listen to it.) On the merit of the cause, I can debate you or anyone at any time, providing my reasons and explaining my case. I do that from time to time here on YT, and quite humbly.

My point is: there cannot be a case for 'moral nihilism'. Its a contradiction in terms and a waste of time for me to continue listening to the video. There, that is more clear. There is no 'debate' to be had about it.

P.S. I'm certainly not a humble person.

If you don't care to debate, fine. That is hardly intellectually honest, and I hope you know there have been people much more brilliant than both of us defending what I've defended (even if a lot better than i could ever). I personally hate people who aren't humble, which to me means that they are arrogant and assume they are right before even learning and discussing the facts. They are people who consider only their original perspective on things, and don't care to look at other perspectives.

I also hope you understand the difference between asserting something, and establishing something as the best theory. Repeating 20 times that moral nihilism is a contradicition in terms while running away from a humble and truthful debate is hardly the way to go to be credible to most people. Be cool.
