  • nice powercall ! What year is the truck?

  • thats the same engine we had in the FDNY when I started with them fighting fires :-) soooo cool ! god bless that rig !

  • now thats what a real fire truck looks and sounds like.... mack diesel with a manual tranny, plus a Q, powercall and good sounding air horns

  • Pierce body?

  • @rrobertsnot5150 No This is not a pierce body. Was refurbished by ITE fire apparatus Hagerstown, MD

  • Great looking truck!!

  • Love that hor

  • on the web berkeleyspringsfire

  • First engine???

  • I'd DIE to get a ride in this thing...she still in service? What Fire Department?

  • @301whitehall Yes it is still in service. Originally a 1980 4 man open cap. was refurbed in 1996 to the 6 man in the video check us out Berkeley Springs Volunteer Fire Company. Berkeley Springs WV

  • gotta love those old MACK CF rigs wish that there were still in production and more avaiable

  • O and P.S future ff2....We all do the same job like said before...The only difference is...you guys receive money and dont volunteer your time to do it....yes you do run ppl off the road...and another little difference...you guys where work uniforms...we were clothing that is comfortable to fight fires in

  • ha i love it...thats how we respond sirens blaren, anlayin on the air horn

  • at 0:42 it looked like the wheels were stopped

  • and yes, apparently it does make a difference that we're paid; we're called Professional Fire Fighters because we conduct ourselves professionally, and don't run everyone off the road every chance we get... i WILL say, though, that your department's Mack is a very nice Classic CF, and the dept. had a good plan in refurbing and keeping it instead of replacing it with today's junk, like our 2000 model E-ONE engine that i will agree is CRAP

  • @futureff2 understood, its not my dept, i just commented on the video, but ill agree its a very nice mack, it really doesnt make a difference if you get paid. we all do the same job... i know a bunch of fireman who dont get paid, but they act as professional fireman.

  • @andywittle, you don't have to quote WV state law to me, since i live (and work) in Kanawha County, home of the state capital and largest county in the state (although, nowhere near as glamorous as that might sound, i'll grant you) ; i'm very well aware that you are required to run a siren when responding with lights on. but here in Metro Charleston, Code 1 means NO LIGHTS or extreme urgency, which is WHY I QUOTED ORIGINALLY THAT WE RESPOND TO INVESTIGATIONS SUCH AS THESE "CODE 1."

  • @futureff2 because your paid?? how does that make a difference?? and is all that noise necessary? maybe your states a little behind the times but here if you activate warning lights, you must also active audible warning devices....... u sound a little jealous, you must ride on some hunk of junk, with a little electric siren, wishing u rode a Mack, with a Q and air horns

  • @andywittle just to let you know it might sound good but it dosnt look as good as williamsport's engine 21 and if you dont belive me just go to winchester and ask the judges for the apple blossem parade cause engine 21 took that mack out. PIERCE all the way

  • @badboy12firefighter hold on a sec. i never said pierce wasn't good, i prefer seagrave or pierce. but i was just saying that he rides an HME or something n wishes he could ride that mack in the video.

  • Nice POWERCALL

  • holly shit a manual trans engine sweet

  • Look at the info bar, It says this engine was responding to a CO2 alarm.. These guys are friggan IDIOTS!

  • CO2 is a very poisonous gas and many many people die every day from CO2 poisoning. So Lets Just say it was your mother's house and she had CO2 concentrated in her house and then she died from CO2 poisoning because the fire department didn't respond code 3

  • @ BakupAlarmIsPow3rcal The "Real fire truck" in this video had one. Are you saying fire trucks are fake then? LOL!!!

  • real firefighters don't care what sirens trucks use

  • my company runs all KME's but my dads company runs 2 old 1998 mack CFs

  • Ya, i love KMES

  • buddy they quit making cf's wayy before 1998

  • good ol macks never fail

  • those guys just luv to lay down that air horn dont they lol

  • we have an old engine 111 too! and our old one was a mack too. now we have a KME

  • Keeps Mechanics Employed

  • That is funny as hell!!! HAHAHAH

  • That Things got the same federal and siren we got on our engine ClearBrook 13 Frederick County Va

  • Doesn't every fire truck in America have a federal and a powercall

  • Now thats a fucking fire truck right there, I betcha anything that old girl could run circles around our new rig.

  • @WCAT101 they just dont make them lke they used to, mack and lafrance changed to much

  • @WCAT101 thats when fire trucks were built to last and pump like crazy. all we get with our new pierce is problems and it is annoying

  • @WCAT101 Yeah, doubt it.

  • that was nice my dad use to work for bethlehem twp fire company and they have a cf model mack that is still in service

  • Anyone who DOESN'T hear that must be stone DEAF!!

  • Nice Mack. We have one in Princeton NJ still in service. 1982 Mack, also a manual transmission.
