Joey Jordison is very very good drummer, but not the best IMO. He is my favourite drummer, because he plays in a band, which is the closest to my favourite music. Mike Portnoy is better drummer than Joey, and with "better" I mean he has more skill. But I still like joey more than Portnoy, because Slipknot > Dream Theater imo.

I think I'm going to have to agree that Joey is probably the best...Travis Barker has never really went anywhere with his talent...it's also kinda funny as to everyone's accusations that Neil Pert is better, because whenever I start to actually think about "hmm...maybe they're right", all I have to do to remind myself is pop in my Rush Live In Rio dvd and then my Voliminal...the difference is definetly noticable.

Joey is just really good at playing fast, which makes a lot of people think he's the best. But Neil is more original and can create rhythms that arent just really fast, they actually have variety and more skill is involved

Yes he is the best, there are faster, heavier, more creative and more technical drummers out there, but Joey is just an all rounder, thats what makes so fucking brilliant
