  • I admire this old man although he is 84 he still be able to deliver a good speech. He has done a great contribution to the world through his writing & lectures

  • I actually feel sad when i see Chomsky..

I think.. who is going to be the new Chomsky, someone so smart and insightful has him.. Sometimes is better not to think about it..

  • @DeepAbsentia This is nothing new. There are plenty out there who might take up the reins. There are several critical schools of thought who steer clear of the mainstream. Unfortunately they are few (and none in USA), and their voices are often muted because if they don't toe the line then they will get no funding. Chomsky is talking about hegemony. Not so much insight here, unless you are a member of the uninformed masses. Chomsky just gives voice to these issues and is succinct in doing so.

  • ˙˙˙ʇuǝsuoɔ ɟo buıɹǝǝuıbuǝ

  • the downfall of property and money will come with the end of inequality ie. the elites.

  • Such an amazing thinker, writer, human being...Like? Love him!!

  • Considering that the majority of people think Beck and Limbaugh are brilliant men, perhaps it's a good thing that an "intelligent minority" actually runs things.

  • ever the voice of reason, chomsky is lucid, erudite, humble and peerless.

  • commie pinko..this guy is worse than cancer

  • @wogdoggy Strangely enough everyone who states truths according to observations, are either called commies, fools or both.

  • @Tyrfingr you know you are RIGHT excuse me maybe i should have asked what should someone who tries to blow other people up called?

  • @wogdoggy Brainwashed fundamentalist loons ?

  • @Tyrfingr no islam at its core, but the liberals will have you believing its the tea party extreme..LOL..watch in november

  • @wogdoggy ---There isn't anything you can do to stop Chomsky from speaking. As a matter of fact the internet has seen to it that his message is much more widely disseminated than ever before. When TV was the dominant information medium Chomsky wasn't well known.

    But those days are over.

  • @tom6612 who said anything about STOPPING anything..I think noam is a perfect example of the left..let him talk and pee all over himself..

  • @wogdoggy -- Ah don't look now Einstein but Chomsky is known as one of the worlds leading intellectuals. His work in linguistics revolutionized the field and Chomsky's Formal Language Theory is even studied by computer scientists because it is so broadly applicable. At the age of 12 he wrote an analysis of the Spanish Civil War that is still seen as brilliant today.

You'll apparently say any old crazy shit no matter how much reality contradicts you.

  • @tom6612 so freaking what? obama is considerd an intellelectual genius harvard degrees BUT yet coulnt run a two bet deli,,at the age of 8 we have child prodigies playing piano etc etc..thats the problem with you libtards your so stupid you let others intrude on your life and freedoms.."but they are very well educated"..LOL

  • @wogdoggy -- (part 1) - Jeeze you are stupid. Everything has to be spelled out for you in black and white. Now pay attention genius. Get ahold of a copy of Maslows hierarchy. You will see that activities such as acquisition (running a business) are at the bottom while the intellectual activities (art, writing) are at the top. Thats why , as a rule, liberals own the arts, culture and education.

You guys are intellectually and creatively handicapped.

  • @tom6612 liberals own the arts while republicans own hard work and individual freedoms..I bet you think the likes of sean penn and rosie odenell know whats better for you?,,running a business should be on the top of the list and you know that ,,anybody can draw and act but making a success out of a business is something even BARRY cant do..lol..save your bullshit for a underachieving 40k a year liberal.

  • @wogdoggy -- (part 2) - As for intruding into your life nobody is more intrusive and anti-freedom than nosy, big government, control freak conservatives that want to decide what sex activities adults can engage in, what substances they ingest, what reproductive choices they can avail themselves of. Your warrentless wiretapping, patriot act, assault on 4th amendment and general tendency towards authoritarianism are also strongly anti-freedom.

  • @tom6612

dim wit..NOTHING is more INTRUSIVE than CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH and ENERGY USE..you are the perfect CHUMP for the left ..please dont vote you moron...asswipe has zero idea about the freedoms lost in obamacare..A tax bill under the guise of healthcare..maybe you can get a job as an IRS agent? the only jobs created by the empty suit

  • America=State sponsord bad acting

  • its great to see Noam still alive..

who will argue with such brilliance when he is dead?

  • @MrHarry46 No one. We're lucky to be alive at the same time as him because there is no equal.

  • @CalabrezSayZ ..yeah what a great bomber ,,probably one of the most caring and thoughtful bomber around..I mean hey forgive and forget huh? wonder how you lefty morons would treat hitler if he were still alive..

  • @MrHarry46 Glenn Beck, KIDDING.

  • @MrHarry46 Finklestein : )

  • @MrHarry46 Neo-cons will try 'til they're blue, but surely unsuccessfully.

  • @MrHarry46 He'll be 84 on Wednesday. Happy birthday, old bean!

  • Noam Chomsky tickles my brain. :)

  • As if the ball & chain of the Federal Reserve System is not enough of an advantage for the morally insane multibillionaires.

Professor Chomsky is justified in his indignation toward the Founding Fathers that may otherwise be considered too harsh, because of the current economic domain that The People find themselves stranded in, a FULL SPECTURM DOMINANCE by a mass murdering Debt Syndicate.

  • There's nothing secret about the Federal reserve. It's all in your head.

I personally believe that the USA was founded as and empire.

  • Personal comments are a waste of bandwidth.

FYI the Congress has never audited the FED. When pressed the chairman-in-thief said that they cant be audited because its none of the business of congress, that the FED is above the law, and that they wont be telling anyone where the stolen trillions have gone because its a big fat secret.

In light of those facts, please explain to the Internet your assertions.

  • The FED isn't anything special or magical. China, Russia, Europe all have central banks. I don't buy into the conspiracy. I also think Bernanke has been doing a good job.

  • Adam Smith would disagree. Austrian School economics disagrees.

    I disagree.

  • I disagree with all of those =)

  • I know. For now it's 2 wolves and 1 sheep, voting on what is going to be for dinner.

Those days are numbered, 1 way or the other.

Either the sheep will reacquire the protection of republic, or the wolves will eat each other after all the sheep are dead.

  • Like I said, I beleive american was founded as a native american genociding empire that had slaves. I couldn't give a fuck about the constitution =)

  • @MrSuperpunch019

The founding fathers never meant for Joe Schmo to vote. Many countries have periodical review of their constitution. But apparently we have live like it is 1776 forever.

  • the FED is as secret as it "needs" to be to keep you s2upid"

  • I totally agree, with the good professors characterization of Adam Smiths position.

    Yes, very well articulated indeed.

  • Jah bless Mr Chomsky !

  • i'm gay.

  • Long live Noam Chomsky!

What an inspiration, a true scholar.
