is there a way to start plying with the whole song or you have to play hundred times with the minimal notes until they unlock you enough note foor the song to be recognisable, im tired of one-finger playing
he i been wondering is songs like this in the game or do you have to downloading it online and pay for it because most other videos i see are only like 3 chords songs
Hey dude, nice playing, but, hey, I play guitar for 3 years now, and I have been thinking in buying this game just for it to be like, a fun way to learn musics, is it really worth it? I can already play really well, but it´s always aewsome to learn some new songs.
You rock 1983electric. I love this game! I've been playing guitar for about 15 years and have been in tons of bands, I make a living as a musician! I teach guitar at my local music store and I recommend this game to my students as a fun way to practice. The game will never replace a real live teacher but it's a perfect way to get students to practice with a band and get experience playing whole tunes!
@Janitudee the game adjusts the difficulty of the tab as you play and get better. to unlock the true tab you have to first hit every note at the lower difficulties. i thought the same before i got rocksmith but the 100% difficulty tabs are spot on.
At least in PC version if you cant put inside your own songs and chorts, men you can say good bye to music schools at least for learn to play guitar !!
Hey, man. Nice job! Do you think this or Rock Band 3 would be easier for beginning guitar players? Or do you think it would be easier with an actual guitar?
@kingfullmetal If you don't want to learn guitar, then rock band is easier. If you want to play guitar though, then this, but it's not easy for everyone.
@1983electric Well, no, that is true, it is not easy to learn how to play an instrument, but I was wondering if I should spend $150 on the "Pro Guitar" for RB3, or $200 on this game to help me do just that.
@1983electric It is by my understanding that the Rock Band 3 guitar has the same functions as the Rocksmith one, though. I'll go check and post an update quick.
@kingfullmetal 150$ for a pro guitar? Wow i didn't know it was that expensive, and that is Rockband. You can get a pretty good real electric guitar from First Act for like 80-100$. That it what i started out with for Rocksmith. I wouldnt go below that though because really cheap stuff tends to go out of tune VERY quickly.
@TidusGW360 Best bet for a beginner would be a Squier or an Epiphone. Good quality for the price, Fender's and Gibson's expertise respectively, and quite low price tag. Heck, if you have a few more bucks to spare, take the bundle with the Epiphone Junior :) !
@cauliflowermonster The only downfall to that, though, is that I already own RB3, but not the guitar. Maybe I'll pick the game up when some more DLC comes out, but I don't exactly have the $ to do so right now XD
@subdragon007 My technique hasn't really changed at all from what I've taught myself before this game, but it has whipped me into playing shape again. It gives you a fun way to practice, and by practicing, you get faster and more accurate. Playing begins to get easier.
@1983electric I never played before my stepson got this. He plays really good. After about a month I'm really starting to see some improvements. The bar chords still kick my butt still, but I'm really enjoying how I'm learning.
@1983electric I had just started teaching myself when I got the game, and I don't think it's really taught me anything new yet, but it makes it MUCH easier to practice, which in turn is making me better.
thanks for the post. I play guitar too but it takes some getting used to to play the game instead of reading music! at about 33,000 on this now so it's good to see how it progresses from the simple ways at the beginning. too bad you can't just break down the hard sections but have to play the whole song each time and pick up little bits here and there each time
@mrakun I found the best way if you want to get the song to a hard skill level fast is go to Riff Repeater and play each section to 100% mastery (if you can) takes a a little time but its better than playing the song over and over to get the skill up. Also the best way to learn a song i fined.
@Enlightenment199 Yeah, you obviously haven't played the game enough to know that it's not that easy...Tacman is right, the leveling is easiest accomplished through the leveler.
Wow. I just bought Rocksmith yesterday and wondered just how complex it gets. This vid answered _that_ question. I think I'll be growing into it for a while. At the moment I play like an amputee, sadly, despite the name.
That was awesome! so jealous :P

@jeffrockr Go to the riff repeater, set the mastery up high on sections, and play it right. It'll stay at that level for you :D

@13pickles13 That's pretty cool. So they must have a guitar style controller for it then right?

@337camo Not really, game works with any electric guitar, you just need special cable to connect your guitar to console (it comes with game).
