So very long ago, years ago...

I was a 14 year old kid listening to this song... investigating (for the first time) these little mushrooms and enjoying the sunset at midnight...

Indeed, those were the wonder years.

yea!! i was lucky enough to see them in Heidelberg in the spring of 79 ,in the army in Germany ( u.s. army ) those were the best of times, i also got real lucky and saw led zeppelin in Frankfurt b4 they went to Dusseldorf then back to England where john bonham o'deed

Springsteen was playing this song att Ullevi in Gothenburg July 08, it was awesome !!!!

This version is goob but it should be whith The E street band and Bruce himself!!!! It`s much better.....
