Damn you don't know just how much I would love to have that transformer.I still have my Laser Optimus prime which up until the classics or Henkei Optimus prime was the bet optimus prime toy.But man like kennyscott11 7 said you have a very rare Transformer there.Nice I like the review any idea where I can get one.

something to note, i found out messing with my rid version that the missle launcher has a peg that lets u have him hold the launcher thats the one that fires 5 missles.

Great review Graham. I wasn't really into the G2 as I felt that were heading further away from the spirit of the whole thing, but this is a nice figure. I picked up Sunstorm the other day. I will return soon to do the review of him.

I considered buying this a few times, it is quite cool, and you can't go wrong with the mold! I do feel a bit "meh" about the slavish white repaints of Prime/Convoy, but eh, it's still quite nifty

I don't own this toy but from the reviews I've seen it seems this is one figure that got it right all around: robot mode and alt mode are believable, good articulation, sturdy, cool gimmicks, and awesome playability (mainly due to the base). I want to get the scourge version of this guy (I'm sick of the prime/superman/spiderman colors) but price is deterring me.

i do love the e-hobby stuff, did you ever see the e-hobby minibots recolours? fairly plain figures but its the bios that made them ultra cool as they were GOBOTS in disguise invading the transformers dimension !!!

Hey Graham, never seen this re-paint before. rather lovely figure indeed; the cab section is one of the best Oppy Primes I've seen (there's also something about Optimus having a sword; sort of Arthurian, which certainly suits Peter Cullen's rendition of the character). I do prefer the RiD Scourge colours, but this one is a bit of a beauty. Is it terribly rare at all?

have to agree with you, i really love the R.I.D. colours better. when this guy was released a year or 2 ago , he was fairly common on ebay but ive not sen him for awhile. he about as rare as the usual e-hobby transformers

I have the Laser Optimus Prime (cab) and I do prefer its colours to this guy. but anything Magnus related is still really good.
