buddy guy is in his 60s here i think.... its fuckin amazing.... the power he still holds on the guitar and in his over all disposition as a performer.... he stands out as a true example of LONGEVITY......
Supra if Buddy lost either one of his hands he would still be one of the best. Have seen him play better with one hand than most with two. Would guess you aint never had the blues.
This Guy is a genius ! Best gig I seen EVER, some years ago in Paris, en la salle du Trabendo. How can so much feeling fit in one human body... and soul ?
I should have seen this before posting mi version of Crawling King Snake at the Ukulele lol. Thanks for this gift.
Dear old Buddy has a semblance to frank Zappa : his cutting tone, unique phraising, humour & mastery. Makes it look easy! I never saw zappa live so i dont know what energy he had, Buddy is a whirlwind on stage.
I have an album called "alone and acoustic." it's BG and Junior Wells, it's acoustic guitar and harmonica, highly recommend that one. Also BG has one called Blues Singer, it has some drums and bass, but it's primarily acousitc. Awesome record!!!
He did an acoustic album with the Jr's of the Blues. (Wells and Mance) in the early 70's. I think its called Buddy and the Jr.s' if you like this , check that out!!!!!
that explains so much!!!! hes using a capo..wow i feel dumb i couldnt figure out the notes he was playing...THANK YOU for this vid it helped me a lot on playin this song :P
i wanted to see him up is hershey but the cheapest tickets were $80 bucks a piece and i didnt have the cash, for shame...

People create tv-show looking for The X-factor. It was here all along! Buddy Guy, Johnny Lee Hooker and B.B King, all got the X-factor.
