@minh19902005 well, I have tried it and it was ok. Music sounds richer if u hook it up with a cable, but it is not bad at all. The handling is pretty easy. The MacBook recognizes the bluetooth receiver immediately and establishes a connection as soon as u enter the code. Unfortunately the latency is quite high so if u watch a movie or play a game on your Macbook, don't use this or any other bluetooth receiver. If you just want to play music it's definitely an option.
@obamaforbreakfast325 no, the receiver only has a stereo outlet so it doesn't support 5.1 surround. Depending on your sound system you might be able to create an digital surround sound but Belkin's device izself is only stereo.
@Dreamccccc the range is quite short. I would say it is about 5 meters for a good quality as long as there is nothing in the way. A small flowerpot in the way is already enough to interrupt the signal.
@TheSayWhatTube That's not a lot...there are not that many alternatives i guess. Saw this thing today in the store and was wondering about the quality. There must be other companies that also have something like this.
@Dreamccccc there most definitely are but this is still one of the better ones. Bluetooth only is a very short ranged signal so I think it will be a challenge to find one that allows you a further distance.
@TheSayWhatTube Probably that's the case. It's really something nice to have when i don't feel like turning on a machine to select a different album. With the iPod Touch i can stream all my music from my NAS directly to my stereo. It's a lot cheaper than buying something like a Squeezbox. Of course a dedicated cable would also be a solution, but i like the wireless aspect of this.
@Marinejegerkommando yes, u can. Well, at least if your computer supports Bluetooth audio. But that is usually the case if ur computer is reasonably new. My Notebook is about one year old and it works perfectly fine and it's also fast enough to experience no delay if u want to watch a movie on the computer but have better sound.
@TheSayWhatTube Thanks for replying so fast :-) I'm only going to be using this to send my music from my Macbook pro (which has A2DP bluetooth) to mye new stereoreciever wirelessly.
@TheSayWhatTube Wow...even quicker reply :D Thanks! What can you tell me about the sound quality, does it fade away with the signal or does it stay about the same as if it was to be connected with a cable?
@Marinejegerkommando the quality is ok I guess. Depending on the quality of your speakers you might not hear a difference at all. I've connected it to some really good ones and if you concentrate you might notice that the sound is not as rich as when connected with a cable.
@TheSayWhatTube Thanks. I just got my self some "good" speakers (oh well, dynavoice m-65 but still) and I dont have a cd-player and I want to be able to change song from a distance and not walk all the way to the reciever to change it.
@raza55555 hi, sadly enough I can't. But that's the matter with all bluetooth audio receivers I guess. At least with my car radio and my headphones it's the same. At home I hooked it up with my stereo and when I put the phone in its dock, I can use a Logitech universal remote to control the basics like pkay, pause, next and previous song and volume, too.
como eu consigo um desses aqui no Brasil, Rio de Janeiro????

What's the range of this receiver? How many metres can you walk away from it before the signal cuts out?

dumb question here, but you can use it with a computer and a stereoreciever aswell right? Not just with that damn iphone?
