You think that you can be racist against your own race, but in my opinion; when you're joking about your race, its not considered racist. Racism occurs when individuals of different races insult/hate/abuse or discriminate each other, and when the individuals of opposite races have the prejudice that they are superior than the other race...but that is just my opinion.
