I don't want to offend you in any way. But I guess I have a mixed feeling about the quality of rendition in this case, although I am not an expert to pass my judgment. Perhaps Yangchen Lhamo was too good for a comparison. However I must say Amalia had sung some other nice songs.

no offense at all. First of all, Yangchen Lhamo is unbeatable, secondly I didn't do that well. I was very tired that night and did not perform nearly as well as I had hoped to. So, no offense at all :-) i actually have to agree with you. I was under a lot of stress and very tired when this was recorded so the quality is not so great.

I am surprised you didn't collapse under the weight of the Khata. are you in Aba for earthquake relief?

No, I went to Amdo Ngawa with my brother on vacation in January. Not to say I wouldn't do a concert for earthquake relief! That would be a fun way to raise some money (and cheer up people.)

its odd. "aba" county by the chinese county delineation, meanders enough tob e parts of both Kham and Amdo. Ngawa itself is in Amdo, although locationally it is VERY close to kham
