We put to death murderers, we dont gun down innocent American Citizens. , An Biaz forgets history of past dictators that murdered its own citizen, look at Hitler who mass murdered thousands of jewish citizens, what about Saddam Hussein? these are only a few who have murdered its own ctiizens. @LeviChase007 I totally agree with you, "There were other options". I was shocked with the verdict. I thought for sure she would get 1st degree or at the very least one of the other options. As angry as I am with the jury for their decision, I believe it was the death penalty that caused them to have such "unreasonable" expectations...they weren't taking anything less than the video showing the murder. We can't afford to have another jury repeat this INJUSTICE.

I used to believe in the death penalty, but after the Casey Anthony trial, I believe we should do away with it. I think it weighs too heavily on the jury's conscience and consequently GUILTY people are set free. I actually agree with Baez "this case is a perfect example of why the death penalty doesn't work." Had the death penalty not been on the table, CA would be in jail right now. IMO that jury made a huge mistake and set a murderer free!

The state allowed Baez to cloud the issues.They spent days talking about the molestation,the affair. In closing, the state should have focused on the canines, the 31 days,the fact the Cindy is sitting in the courtroom holding hands with the man defense accusing of molesting his daughter & dumping his grandchild. No good mom would hide the death of her child. They should have brought Tim miller & Grund to show she was willing to throw anybody under the bus. They shouldve kept is simple
