  • One of the last true bluesmen alive.

  • @calvalomuerto you obviuosly dont know who the man is. He is preserving a great american tradition regardless of his race. I would venture to say that your comment is racist instead.

  • @CavaloMuerto Could you please explain why?

  • @angischy

I would have thought everyone could figure out that white guys doing impersonations of black people is impolite

  • @CavaloMuerto I would have thought that someone calling this man's career "an impersonation of black people" would be considered impolite

  • @angischy

I wouldn't personally choose to make a career impersonating black people, putting on a contrived accent that is not his own in order to sound like someone he's not. But whatever floats his boat I guess.

Somebody had better alert Cathleen Battle!

Poor girl is out there impersonating white opera singers and she doesn't even know she's being impolite ... OMG somebody do something!!!

  • @angischy Does the same insult sentiment apply to white people who Rap? I think rap is a perversion to the ears but, it sort of turns the sentiment around. Just for the sake of discussion.

  • @angischy Not as polite as making money doing blackface without the makeup.

  • @angischy Not as polite as making money doing blackface minstrel shows without the makeup.

  • @CavaloMuerto Wtf are you talking about? It's obvious he has a feeling for the blues and has since the 60s. You can't fake the blues. This guy is legitimate.
