  • my professor says that i cant used copy/paste on that. do you know the proper way to import it? i try to save it in a different format still only the text doc is the one that i can copy not the picture and i try to make it as a header and still cant open the file. im running out of options lol (its for my exam by the way)

Well, in this case, you need to be able to SELECT the Picture inside the Word Document and Copy Just the Picture. Then, in some free Graphics program - Paste it and save that Document as either a PNG or JPEG File - save it to your Desktop if possible.

Next, from Excel, pick the cell where you want to place the picture - on the Insert Tab of the Ribbon, select Picture - browse to find it and Click OK.

  • hey danny how can i import picture in a word file to excel without using a pdf converter? thanks

  • @cloudrock019

It is as simple as using Copy and Paste! Simply use the Right-mouse to click on the Picture in Word and choose Copy. Then, in Excel, right-click the cell where you want to place the upper-left corner of the picture and choose Paste.

If your are using MS Office 2007 or MS Office 2010, working with pictures and other graphic elements is much improved and allows you to apply professional effects with a minimum of effort.
