  • R I P JAMES HAYDEN, PATSY.

  • @leedumett444 he was an Army Medic too

  • at 2:00 the bullet is visible in mid air

  • let's go for a swim. I love how it pops up throughout the movie.

  • This movie is the Matter of America in the same way that the story of King Arthur is the Matter of Britain and the Chanson de Roland is the Matter of France.

  • fucking badass, "no problem just kids stuff" BOOM!!

  • love this film have it on dvd and i dont even care that it's basically 4hrs this is my favourite gangster film of all time!!!

  • What kind of factory are they in?

  • patsy played by james hayden who sadly died after filming of a drug overdose r i p this is my all time favorite film best movie ever made

  • r i p james hayden patsy

  • I think the reason "The Godfather" is rated as a great movie, mafia, gangster, or the like, is because it truly was the very first movie that dealt with the mafia, along with great actors, superb music. It was 1972, and from the director, on down from the book, the music, the cars, the scenes from Sicily, "The Godfather" was the first in its class. I also think this was better than "The Godfather". DeNiro, Pesci (albeit, a small role...), and Woods, made this a great movie on its own standing.

  • Love the symbolism of Noodles chasing Frankie's man and shooting at him the same way Noodles watched Bugsy chase down Dominic and shoot at him.

  • @Ligierthegreensun Good job! I had never even thought about that during this part in the movie!

  • I loved James Woods in this film. I loved the moment when the two of them sits silently in the car. much better film than Godfather, if you ask me

  • I know that was Burt Young who got killed in this scene but he didn't look like Burt young.

  • I love their snap brim fedoras.

  • this movie really gets to you

    the music is buetifull

  • just amazing how you see the kids grow up from thier meager origins and rise to the men they are and at thier peak and fall

  • mostly this a good scene to be a arguement scene

  • This movie in my opinion is so much better than the Godfather...

Godfather was a good movie, but boy did it drag...

  • As much as I hate to say it, I think it is better than the Godfather too.

  • @agricolaemontanae i dont hate to say it. this makes The Godfather look like shit by comparison

  • im not sure if its the best or not but this is a damn good movie though

  • It's more a story of friendship and love in the context of the mafia than a gangster movie only. My favorite.

  • Awesome Movie. It is long and you will probably need to watch it a few times in order to fully comprehend the connections within.

  • have u seen that part on this film were they rob that jewle store

  • it's always good to see Jewish gangsters for once.

  • I'm sick of hearing about the 'godfather'. Once Upon A Time In America has just been under-rated and overlooked. The cinema companies butchered it upon release, and it was only several years afterwards at Cannes that it finally got the credit it deserved.

  • The good thing about this movie is that it was about low-level gangsters, like "Goodfellas" was about the rank and file guys rather than the big-shots. It's more realistic that way.

  • each scene is historic, each word is historic, each tone is historic. Period.

  • Yep. It is the greatest gangster\crime film ever. Nothing more needs to be said.

  • If it is the greatest gangster\crime movie what about The Godfather or scarface the story of a gangster

  • Once upon a time in America is the greatest gangster movie because it shows the ups&downs of these guys very vivid!

  • The best movie and one of the best scenes of the movie. Sergio Leone really worked hard this dream project of his. Great acting by Robert DeNiro and James Wood. Merci PersianPaladin.

  • lmao

  • ya segio leone what a great director he was

  • "No problem....Kids stuff!"

  • good shit

  • Gangsta to the core

  • So underrated.

    A Great American Movie

  • It is underrated. But it is not American for sure! It just has a couple of american actors. The movie was shot in Italy.

  • Actually, it is mostly shot in USA. Check out IMDB.

  • @immortalperser no it's an american movie, set in america, with american actors, based on american people. (jewish and italian american to be specific)
