The Arabs were unhappy about the imperialism and the Zionism which increased up until post world war 2 (mainly due to the Holocaust). Israel fight for exactly the same thing as Palestine do, but historically, the area is Palestine's by right.

The UN (Palmer report) says the blockade is legal.
