not at all, the traditions, music and customs of the people of Greece are quite diverse, on the boarders there are, naturally, influences and cultural exchanges with neighbouring people, Albanians, Slavs,Turks, however, isolated polulations: Islanders, Mountaineers, Cretans, people form the Pontus have very different traditions, which are directly linked to those of the Ancient Greeks. I suggest you read Patric L. Phermor's books "Mani" and "Roumeli" for a thourough analyses
