We are loving and accepting, regardless of gay. straight, black, yellow, even haole. And that goes for us living on the Mainland, too. Thank goodness for the Brothers!!
To YourRisingPhoenix - Happily the Hawaiian language and culture are being brought back, and passed along quite a bit more than it was for too long. I agree with your comment regarding the culture should be learned by any and all who move to these beautiful islands, so they can fully appreciate just how sophisticated the Hawaiians truly were/are. Much aloha to you.
Thankyou to Leilani for sharing this beautiful video, i have a few Hawaiian friends, and it saddens me that their people are almost forced to learn American and English culture, it should be the other way around ,as in Americans and English learning Hawaiian culture, maybe then the world can be that little bit better, for we need love, we need the aloha everywhere : )
Pikake has ALWAYS, been my Favourite Hawaiian Flower/Fragrance, and had it wrapped around my Maile Lei when I got Married in Hawaii many years ago..........
