@MissErinia I've had people scream in my face (literally, it was outside a church and a few times in high school) that I was going to hell cause I didn't believe. The only thing to do is give the same, simple comment: "Please stop. You can go ahead, pray for me, and wait till you die to see who is right. Until then, I'm actually going to try and help as many people as I can while I am still alive." And then walk away without another word and without looking back.

It is not their right to pass judgment on you...so you don't have to pay any attention to that. I can't believe it! In my Communication Arts class, our assignment for last week was to write about our favorite singer/ band and defend it. I wrote Britt Nicole, and we were told to share who we picked. When it was my turn I stood up, said Britt Nicole, and ever sinlge person in my class stared at me like I had five heads. My teacher then asked me who Britt Nicole was. I swear to god I yelled that she is the most insperational and amazing singer in the world.!!! ;( No one knows who she is!

It encourages people to stoke the fires within them and reach out to others, to make a positive difference in the world in the name of love. @MissErinia I've had people scream in my face (literally, it was outside a church and a few times in high school) that I was going to hell cause I didn't believe. The only thing to do is give the same, simple comment: "Please stop. You can go ahead, pray for me, and wait till you die to see who is right. Until then, I'm actually going to try and help as many people as I can while I am still alive." And then walk away without another word and without looking back.

I can't believe it! In my Communication Arts class, our assignment for last week was to write about our favorite singer/ band and defend it. I wrote Britt Nicole, and we were told to share who we picked. When it was my turn I stood up, said Britt Nicole, and ever sinlge person in my class stared at me like I had five heads. My teacher then asked me who Britt Nicole was. I swear to god I yelled that she is the most insperational and amazing singer in the world.!!! ;( No one knows who she is!

@xXHopeForSilenceXx I know exactly how you feel. My favorite singer is Brandon Heath and everyone makes fun of me for liking Christian music. It makes me angry because they don't give it a chance and just say they hate it. Its annoying and hurts my feelings.

@xXHopeForSilenceXx that has happened to me before. my class, it was in english, wrote in journals and that was one of the topics we had. Your fave singer and why. I chose Britt Nicole too, and When they got to me, everyone looked at me like i was insane when i explained she was a christian singer who was an inspiration to me, i could tell right off who probably weren't believers in my class because i heard scoffs and saw some people roll their eyes. Ive been praying for them since.

@mstiffytaffy1 This isn't just a Christian song. I'm an atheist and I like this song because it's inspiring. It encourages people to stoke the fires within them and reach out to others, to make a positive difference in the world in the name of love. That's a multidenominational message if I ever heard one, and one that should be shared more, for that matter.
