I bought this car, taking delivery in Munich. Wonderful to drive on the Autobahn, let me tell you. Just get the options you want/will use. Car drives wonderfully; fast, nimble and very tight.  Seats are incredible, front and back. A winner.

I have 3 older 7 series, best cars ever. I love this new 7 but I wish car manufactors would bring out very basic models as well, with manual windows, airco, seat massage etc etc.. Saves 100's of kilo's and tons of money and you get the high tech body design and drive train for the best price.

The 7-series has a bizarre thigh support that moves forward and leaves an annoying empty gap between the seat cushion and the thigh-support thing. You end up sitting on the gap right in the middle of your leg, and it's really uncomfortable. So the thigh support is unusable, at least for me. And when you don't use it, the seat cushion is too short,

even shorter than a 5-series seat. The current Benz S-class seat is just a plain seat, but much more comfy. I wish BMW had optional seat designs.

Yep, the 328 (+ the rest of the 3-series) seats feel good to me (The 5 even more so). It's just the 7-seats that seem over-designed, with what seems like a shorter cushion than the 3 or 5 when the thigh support is not-extended. BMW should let the 5 or even the 3 seats be available in the 7.

The 7 has the room I need for my 37-inch legs.

i had to help pull out one of these cars on the 4th or july cuz it got stuck in some mud (it was a dirt lot with a huge amount of rain) and god i can tell u the cars heavy as hell, but the accelaration is amaaaazzzinnng n its very quiet yet at the same time and its just beautiful. a lot bigger then u'd expect too, but i'd kill to own even a used one.

This car is pretty awesome, the S63 AMG does all this pretty well and nightvision in the HUD, The seats in the S63 recline pretty far back and it has a leg rest that pops out. I'm happy they separated the climate from the middle mouse, thats pretty annoying in my dads car its an 07 750 LI

It's a very nice car. I thought that the way I said it made it very clear that $27,000 in options is a ludicrous amount. There aren't many people out there who can afford $110,000 cars, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth talking about. This job would suck if I only drove Nissan Versa's all day. My Q7 3.0 TDI came with a list price of 50.000 EUR. Plus Options, 18.000 EUR. A comparable car today would be a bit over 70.000 EUR. That is 93.000 USD. A 750 Li, though produced only 250 miles from here, comes at a staggering 95.000 EUR - that's 126.000 USD. Without any options you've mentioned - that will add up to another 40k USD easily.

So that's about 35 percent off "our" price for shipping it 10.000 miles to the US. Not a bad deal, don't you think?
