  • >It is held that Japanese video game music producer Yuzo Koshiro made a remixed instrumental rendition of "Move Any Mountain" for the base-ball Stadium stage in Streets of Rage 2, officially titled "Under Logic".

    Oh, thanks Wikipedia. Cool song.

  • MOVE ANY MOUNTAIN

  • They should play this theme before baseball games.

  • The days I could beat the same game about a hundred times oh how I miss.

  • i love it <3 :D

  • it's like boo!

  • "I Can Move, Move, Move Any Mountain..." That's what this sounds like to me!

  • FUK DAT LETS GET SOME ICECREAM.

  • BATTER UP!

  • they should play this sorta music at clubs, then i might actuly bother going to one

  • Move Any Mountain...

  • Sounds like something I'd hear at the Roxbury.

  • This stage and song reminded me of Coney Island mix with Disney world

  • A remix of this song called Above reason was on the bar fights trailer.

  • Max Thunder: of you comin at me with a knife? k. either im gonna kill you or youre gonna kill you. lets do this.

  • DO baseball!!!!!

  • @Jdub14000...It's like Boo!

  • Es genial este tema

  • Best beginning ever of any tune on Sega Genesis, and the best track of Streets of Rage II, IMHO, Awesome!

  • PLAY BALL!!!!!!

  • This reminds me of "E's are good E's are good, he's Ebeneezer Goode"

  • I wonder why its called Under Logic.

  • sigh i just adore this music!!!

  • It's easily the best music I've ever heard on the Sega Genesis in terms of audio quality. It sounds like an old night club. I think the Gen sound chip is better for electronic music than snes's. For rock music Snes is better (guitar like sound is really good and has no equivalent on Genesis).

  • @zyvaXterminator

Thunder Force IV has some pretty rockin guitar sounds, but overall i agree with this statement

  • @Renegade466isback So true, Thunder Force IV still amazes me today with its amazingly high quality.

  • @zyvaXterminator

if only there had been a genesis/snes hybrid

    imagine that kind of music

    with a few adjustments

  • @zyvaXterminator Skitchin and Comix zone are excelents examples of rock music in genesis.

  • Streets of Rage music so reminds me of 90s rave, especially Streets of Rage2, awesome!!

  • Tsk, 2 people can't move any mountain!

  • I can hit, hit, hit any baseball.

  • Always thought that this track sounded like Shamen's "Move Any Mountain".

And I don't think that's a coincidence, Yuzo Koshiro took allot of inspiration from early 90's dance music producers for Streets of Rage.

  • @mitrooper Yes I always thought that, that is the track he is copying. Move Any Mountain.

  • "It's like boo!" "Do Baseball!"

  • "I can move, move, move any.....oh.....wait"

  • Whenever I visit a baseball stadium, this song pops into mind.

  • Mr. X and Shiva don't like this song

  • Do Baseball!!

  • @MrSuperVada It's like Boo!

  • @eb937 And Max use a pipe on Big Ben! Big Ben jumped to body slam on him but him hit it! Homerun! lol

  • @eb937 You know, growing older has really put things into perspective for me, and I can finally agree, it IS like boo. It also helps that I do! baseball!

  • Give me a pipe or a bat; with either one of them, I'm hitting home runs all day.

  • Someone next time they come out at bat in a baseball game should come out to this song! I would be that guy's biggest fan just for that!

  • nice..music sounds nice and 90's....

  • Haha all I think about when I listen to this song is that annoying fatass that spits fire and laughs like a jackass lol

  • @NocturnoCulto24 Hah true, I can picture that too: SWWWOOOOSSHHH!!! GWHAHAHAHAHAHAH!! ^^

  • I can move move move...any mountain!

  • I wonder what noise Axel is making in this picture -_-

  • Baseball music

  • It's like Boo!

  • DO BASEBALL!

  • 2 people can't baseball.

  • This is the theme of Seoul, Korea

  • Yeah, great tune! I've been playing Under Logic on keyboard for years.

Yuzo Koshiro was been a big influence on how I play. Come to think of it game music from the 80's and 90's in general has been a big influence on how I play :)

  • 2 pessoas preferem Luan Santana

  • I want this soundtrack on iTunes =/.

  • @SauceGhey you can just download it right here

  • I wanna do me some baseball!

  • Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius! Genius!

    Yuzo Koshiro, you're the MAN!!!!

  • The bass in this song is so sick

  • Anybody up for a game of baseball SOR style :)

  • Axel: Arrgghh low hp.....*Finds a chicken* wow now i can 'Move any Mountain'

  • Ezzer Goode Ezzer Goode..........Hes Eberneezer Goode

  • thumbs up if the pic makes you hard!

  • There is no song that is better for whistling to. Try it and see.

  • @hmp22 Humming works too. Chillaxing. :P

  • @BobTheCherub

I guess, but whistling is top tier IMO

  • @hmp22 lol yeah, i always whistle these songs

  • WHY IS SEGA 1992 MUSIC SO GOOOOD?????

  • Man oh man. This game really proves that the Genesis' YM2612 is more powerful than the SNES' SPC700. Hats off to Koshiro Yuzo.

  • 2 people are above logic :)

  • 0:15-0:30 reminds me so much of "Whipping" by Pearl Jam. Makes me wonder if they were playing this game while making Vitalogy haha!

  • @CraigPhilipMyBeer

yeah 4 generic chords played in sequence

must be a pearl jam reference

  • I actually think this was made more to sound like Shamen, hearing many songs from them i realize quite a few songs of their have this feel to them. Listen to ones like Ebeneezer Goode and LSI. They feel like this song too.

  • If I was at the brink of death just the sheer awesomeness of this song could bring me back to my feet.

  • MOVE ANY MOUNTAIN!!!!

  • One of the top tracks for sure.

  • this song makes me wanna move any mountain

  • Blaze: Ha Too tooo tah !! :o)

  • "Mooove any mountaiiiin..."

  • I hated that buff guy with the jerry curl though he beat me everytime smh

  • Thumbs up if this is better than every Snes song :D

  • @mistertitanic

Now now.....lets not get ahead of ourselves! :D

  • "ITS LIKE BOO!"

  • @Y0mAMa5957 the walkaway to the stadium :-D

  • Eezer good Eezer Are good, hes ebeneezer good...

  • Countless hours of this game both on the genesis as a kid; as well as on the xbox 360 with a roommate of mine. Damn...

  • Two people got their asses roasted by Big Ben!

  • Nearly every event I've been to at a stadium, I'd catch myself humming this song, lol.

  • Pipes on donovan, galsia, b signal big ben and big go's heads!!!

And if this is not enoughd, forward forward +b with axel to shut everyone up!!!

  • This reminds me of those Friday afternoons running from school to play this game. The music is so clear, good work!

  • Do Want Oleg Melnikov FRANZUZ DIE BAD EVIL PEDOPHILE BASTARD RAPING KIDS AROUND UZAO MOSCOW RIDING VOLVO AND HONDA S2000 KILLER PEDO RAPIST WITH GOGGLES

  • Yuzo Koshiro really knew how to work the Sega sound chip like no other.

  • Seeing as "Tommy Lasorda Baseball" had come years earlier on Genesis, I always thought as a kid that the "Sega Stadium" in SoR2 was in fact the generic stadium in TLB, and that the Big Bens were clones of Tommy (who never appeared in his titular game outside of the title screen and cover art). XD

Aside from being a great tune, I can't help but laugh when I hear it as the cheesy Tommy Lasorda Baseball cover art pops up in my head!

  • @SuperAdventures hahaha! thats hilarious.. i have tommy lasorda baseball.. classic shit

  • It's "Move any Mountain" by the Shamen! =3

  • @TheSecretEye yeah, i heard that song and fastly i looked for this one jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaj

  • @TheSecretEye !) is true!!!!!!!!!hahaha

  • @TheSecretEye holy shit!!! the song sounds so similar!!1

  • @TheSecretEye HOLY HELL YOU'RE NOT KIDDING. o_o;

I was completely blown away four seconds into "Move Any Mountain". Thirty seconds later, I was just like HOLY

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSecretEye

It makes sense, because I remember reading part of an Interview where Yuzo stated when doing the soundtrack for SOR2 (maybe SOR1 as well) he actually sat around in dance clubs as part of his research for coming up with the songs.

  • 1 person couldn't move a mountain

  • "On the diamond, you'll meet Big Ben, a baseball fan who looks like he's had one too many chili dogs. Clean his clock, and watch that fiery breath! A secret elevator takes you to an underground arena where the winner takes all!"

  • Takes me back. Good times.

  • @TheNostalgiaJunkie thats what she said :)

  • I remeber this walkin onto da baseball field kickin ass with Skate and my cousin Bryan was Axel.

  • blatently sounds like the Shamen

  • It's funny to see the resemblances between acid house in the 90's and Yuzos compositions. He must of had some influence or liked "House" music created in Chicago in 80's later moving to europe and other parts of the world in the 90's.

  • This song has been stuck in my head daily for the past 13 years. I need to get this checked out...

  • AH damn good song (H)

  • Fat guy flamethrowers!!! always threw me off

  • Never Return Alive is the best !

  • we really get into our music dont we gamers?!! to think about it when i was younger i never payed attention but as an adult i find that not only do i remember this music but i fucking love it because it brings the massive waves of nostalgia

  • We all know this is a complete rip off of Move Any Mountain BUT... does anyone think those repeating background noises that you can hear clearest at the start and continue through the whole song sound JUST like part of Ebeneezer Goode?

Yuzo Koshiro must've really liked The Shamen.

  • DO BASE BALL

  • 3 things come to mind when I hear this track.

    Baseball Stadium.

    Big Ben.

    Epicness.

    That is all.

  • @YinYang19 haha hell yeah this was the best lvl

  • @YinYang19 So that's the new definition of BBBE.

  • @YinYang19 The Guy ( Big Ben ) reminds of a fat Dan Aykroyd. Ha Ha Ha Ha. Best Game of the 1990s.

  • @YinYang19 yes man, and also pipes b.sygnals and the those two electra!! and of course axel knocking 'em down!!

  • @YinYang19 ENDEED! XD

  • 18 years old....this game was released in 1992....EIGHTEEN YEARS!! Still can't believe how much classic gaming meant to me...Revenge of Shinobi (Which had the best music IMO), ESWAT, Mercs, Maximum Carnage, Joe Montana Football, Altered Beast, Golden Axe 1, 2 & 3, and of course SoR 2.

  • this track is too hard!!! ;)

  • watch out for those surprisingly fast obese fat men that are breathing fire for some reason.

  • The bass on these songs comes out of nowhere when you plug in headphones. I am in awe. These songs got at least 20x better.

  • @Dilbez I was just thinking the same thing. It's freakin' amazing!
