I think effects are good when you do a fast video, with not that much feelings, but I don't particularly like textures when they're overused (when you can't see the video). As I'm not able to use both of them, I do prefer to make peaceful videos, that highlights what I want to show instead of how I show it. Haha that was a long comment! TY<3
