I study JKD and i just got into boxing recently :D

@chaos777000 Well like every fighter on the planet he too could improve but that doesn't mean what he's doing isn't working. What I see with just the punching aspect is he doesn't throw his punches as straight as he could, in other words his elbows have a lot of bend in them. Basically think of your punched going straight out and back. The other thing I see is he keeps his hand a little too low and whips them up leaving a split second of being open. He could also improve his balance as well.

Pacquiao Martinez fight is the one who could give us a fight we've been waiting to see. As Ivan86 have said, Pacquiao will be in a fight we couldn't predict who's gonna win. Isn't that exciting? We are not saying here Pacquiao would dominate Martinez in a fight, what we are trying to initiate is that Pacquiao has a fight with Martinez. It would not be an easy fight on both of them. We could see two of the best boxers at their prime proving with each other who is greater with them in todays time.

Pacquiao throws alot of punches to pressure his opponent, those punches are not going to knock anyone out. It's the punch that comes in-between his flurries that matters and it's a punch he knows how to throw pretty damn accurate. Mayweather is a defensive boxer with an uncanny ability to counter, counterboxers always have high(er) hitpercentages. Comparing them like this is stupid.
Chillmood said that pacquaio has "pinpoint accuracy like a sniper", I was showing him that landing at 23% is not pinpoint accuracy and any sniper who landed at 23% accuracy would be dead.
It does not mean that Pac is not a great fighter, it does not mean he is weak. It just means that he does not have pinpoint accuracy.

If you watched alot of Pac's fights, you can notice that whenever he KO's the opponent it's almost always due to 1 punch. And it's that 1 punch he delivers like a sniper, so I can understand where Chillmood came up with his comment.

Pac beat Diaz at 135 lbs. Nate Camboell held 3 titles but pac chose Diaz because Diaz was coming off a razor thin win over Morales, who Pac had already KO'd twice.

Excuse me? 129 to 142? Where did you get those numbers? Those were his weigh-in weights. If you check his fight night weights for those fights, he was 145 against JMM, and 148.5 against DLH. That's 3.5 lbs. in 9 months. How is that a significant weight difference? In fact he was already over 140 in the 3rd Morales fight 2 years earlier. The weight he had to lose against JMM also explains why he looked shitty in that fight.

Yes, it's lean muscle mass. The weight he lost for fight night was in water, then he rehydrated back to his natural weight. When he weighed in at 142 9 months later, he simply didn't dehydrate himself. He didn't gain much lean muscle mass, he just stopped taking water out of his body. As for the catchweights, he's still smaller than his previous opponents. I'm just pointing out that he didn't gain as much weight as people think.

Floyd has a trial in March so he cannot mnake any plans. Tyson made plans to fight when he had a pending trial and the judge mentioned at the trial that that was an insult and showed disrespect to teh court's authority.
Floyd will not make that mistake.
The trial was supposed to be in late January but was postponed, that is why Arum broke the world speed record to get Mosley signed..

I study JKD and i just got into boxing recently :D

@chaos777000 Well like every fighter on the planet he too could improve but that doesn't mean what he's doing isn't working. What I see with just the punching aspect is he doesn't throw his punches as straight as he could, in other words his elbows have a lot of bend in them. Basically think of your punched going straight out and back. The other thing I see is he keeps his hand a little too low and whips them up leaving a split second of being open. He could also improve his balance as well.

Pacquiao throws alot of punches to pressure his opponent, those punches are not going to knock anyone out. It's the punch that comes in-between his flurries that matters and it's a punch he knows how to throw pretty damn accurate. Mayweather is a defensive boxer with an uncanny ability to counter, counterboxers always have high(er) hitpercentages. Comparing them like this is stupid.

Chillmood said that pacquaio has "pinpoint accuracy like a sniper", I was showing him that landing at 23% is not pinpoint accuracy and any sniper who landed at 23% accuracy would be dead.
It does not mean that Pac is not a great fighter, it does not mean he is weak. It just means that he does not have pinpoint accuracy.

@osamabad Weigh-in weight is your lean muscle mass. Pac gained 10% of his lean muscle mass in 9 months. That is unheard of and a direct result of Anti-myostatins taken in 21 day cycles over a 9 month period.
So not only do I know that pac is using steroids, I know exactly what type he is using.
Pac looked shitty in the first JMm fighht because Pac is shitty. He is overrated and his last 6 fights have been against face-first, mummy-footed defenseless fighters.

Yes, it's lean muscle mass. The weight he lost for fight night was in water, then he rehydrated back to his natural weight. When he weighed in at 142 9 months later, he simply didn't dehydrate himself. He didn't gain much lean muscle mass, he just stopped taking water out of his body. As for the catchweights, he's still smaller than his previous opponents. I'm just pointing out that he didn't gain as much weight as people think.

Floyd has a trial in March so he cannot mnake any plans. Tyson made plans to fight when he had a pending trial and the judge mentioned at the trial that that was an insult and showed disrespect to teh court's authority.

@osamabad After the cotto fight in 2009 it was Roach who admitted pac would not be ready for floyd in March 2010, that is why pac fought clottey. Arum just used teh testing as an excuse. Margarito announced in February 2010 that he was scheduled to fight pac in November 2010, I guess he wasnt lying considering he did fight him.
Arum keeps saying "floyd is my number 1 priority" but that actually means 'I have no intention of fighting floyd".

If it did, he could've just told him that he was waiting to see the outcome of his trial, but he plainly said he was finished. Plus, he already discussed this last summer. For the November fight Roach announced that pac had agreed to all terms for testing. But when asked at the press conference what the terms were he could not answer.
