@CharlyPetra Sure, the LED display is for diagnostics. So if you are having trouble getting past the POST screen you can identify what is wrong much easier.
i was interested in trying to build my own computer from scratch, Im kinda tired of my laptop and this looks good but its my first build and i wanted something to watch hd movies to my tv some games etc... what would you recomend the only thing is im in england and london is much more expensive then alot of other parts for stuff... any ideas?
@azemuldin If you jump over to our forums (go to vortez dot co dot uk and click forums) we can spec you up a system with a few different options and even help you build it. Feel free to open up a new thread and we can go from there! Hope this helps.
Nice video. Here's a newbie question: what is the purpose of dual gigabit ethernet? To be on two networks at the same time? Redundant internet connection via two ISPs?
@VortezReviews So could I have two broadband networks connected to my PC, and as soon as one goes down the other one kicks in automatically? This could be a big deal for anyone who requires 100% uptime for their work and/or play.
@bigdima3 yeah there were a few points during this "review/unboxing" which sounded to come more from a novice who wasn't really clued up on the tech. Another was his reason for gold plated contacts. His reason for this was to make it stronger to survive you dropping things on it LOL!!!
I hope this P67 architecture is not going to replace LGA1366, , it shouldnt. But its more power efficient, and thats what makes me jealous cuz i have an LGA1366 system
how much would this motherboard cost? Im waiting with many others for the sandy bridge to come out and I dont want to break the bank over a 300-400 motherboard.
@StackRainer Where are you based? The ECS P55H-AK that they released for the P55 chipset was around $250-300 so we are expecting similar pricing in January when this launches!
@VortezReviews thanks for the information, I was wondering how much it would cost because a new processor means a new motherboard. and new stuff = new price, which is usually more than i want to pay. Do you have any idea how much a new sandy bridge processor will cost?
@StackRainer Glad to help. The good thing with this new platform is it will still take 1156 coolers and of course dual channel DDR3 so those are two items you don't need to invest in if you are already on 1156. About the Sandy CPUs, at the moment there is no information on the pricing of the chips. As soon as there is though it will be posted on our site. Based on the 1156 CPUs though... they won't cost the earth. Hope this helps!
@bshara18 ur wrong i have a old ESC (2004) and i drop it lots of time and works still. Plus there one of the oldest computer company and they make great products.
@bshara18 Don't be sure about that. The SuperComputer motherboard has been a pile of crap from the get-go with BIOS stability and issues with the RAM slots.
@bshara18 I don't know where you're getting that opinion from, this is an outstanding motherboard. Asus makes terrible motherboards. I ended having to rma three of their p67 boards in a row before finally picking up this ECS. I will never buy anything Asus again, ever. As for evga, I had a 680i made by them a few years back and it was alright, nothing special though.
This is mid range junk. Intel Patsburg 2011 socket is what people with money want to hear about. 1155 sandybrige is jerkoff Intel Patsburg is "PURE PUSSY."

@getnhigh247 neither of them are good. X58 is dead and P/H67 have sata problems. I would go 890FX.

You said the socket LGA 1155 will work with a LGA1556 processor. Intel says they are NOT cross compatible. Only the cpu coolers are cross compatible.

@vivitron78 I did? At which part? please link me to the location.

@VortezReviews Sorry about that. I just watched the video again. I misheard. You were saying it will accept an 1156 cooler, not the processor.

@thetshirtblog Pretty much what you said. It means you can connect to two network devices at once. Two devices that use RJ45!
