  • 8 people got sucked in by that huge ass turbo when it was on.

  • holy pajesus 50 pounds, what turbo is that if its only making 600 awhp?

  • 3:31 im sorry did he say 50 lbs of boost?

  • 0-60 in 2 seconds? DAMN that's fast!

  • Well, here in Europe we got bigger engines than 2L too, but we know too, how to make a 2L Fiesta to kick Muscle car's ass too ... even in drag race ;) ... Even the 1.6 WRC Fiesta kick's ass which has just the half power of the crossrally version.

  • He says in the U.S. you've "held out" and still have bigger engines.

Out of genuine curiosity- I've read that petrol in the U.S. is subsidised rather than taxed like the rest of the world. Is it common knowledge that you stil pay a lot for it? Or do most people just think it costs what they pay when they fill up?

  • 50 lbs. of boost! :o

  • @dogman36 okay, did that, now what?

  • i start to love the fiesta. seriously.

  • Foust is an awesome racer.

  • I was ten feet from this beast yesterday at the X Games when they were heading out for the final race. It sounded very impressive.

  • Tanner Foust is such a nice guy, he's the best!

  • 0-60 in 2sec FTW!

  • 50 lbs of boost and only making 600 hp??? weak

  • @be4unvme Remember, its a 2 litre engine and a Ford. xD

  • @be4unvme I guarantee it can produce more power. They do have limitations, you know.

And name other cars that can get 600 hp and produce the same numbers this car does. lol

  • @SeEsAw121221 well i dont want to be looked like such a honda boy but i know people with 40 lbs of boost making well over 800

  • rally is the most awesome racing sport ever.

  • Comment removed

  • @hkj73 The fiesta is american.. lol

  • @hkj73 Ummm the Fiesta is a Ford. Ford is American

  • When I Heard 50 Pounds Of Boost, I Went OMGWTFBBQ.

  • @WHYUQQBRO Formula 1 cars in the 80's ran over 60 pounds of boost.

  • They probably put the radiator in the back so they dont have to fix internal hardware every time he hits something which is a lot when it comes to drifting or rallying.

  • @hashfromjc The radiators are often located in the rear for drifting as it improves balance and you get a cleaner airflow to the rad when travelling sideways.

Most rally regulations require the radiator to be situated in the "stock" location, so they are located up front.

Rallycross build regulations are more flexible, so radiators are put in the rear to improve weight distribution and move the radiator away from harm. Plus you can fit a bigger rad in the back then you can up front!

  • Alright ford listen up! make a $25K AWD 2.0L Direct injection turbo 4 banger (longitudinal engine) with a rally theme. I WILL BUY IT.

  • 0 to 60 in 2 seconds!!!!!!!!

  • 50lbs of boost...

    Wtf lol

  • Y U Give us no turbo AWD Fiesta Ford?

  • How about releasing it in the US ALREADY, i would drop my mazdaspeed 3 for a AWD hatchback other than a subie in a heart beat

  • @slyzxx1 They sell Fiestas in the US already.

  • @slyzxx1 And I'll gladly take your Speed3 off your hands ; )

  • The only thing Ford about this car is the blue oval

  • 575hp produced by 2.0lit engine?!! Wicked indeed!!

  • @omidool The same engine is used in the Pikes Peak Fiesta - it produces over 800 BHP in that form!

  • get that car and lap the TopGear USA track for the show!

  • @Dogman36 "Genius! Genius! Genius!" in a fat guy opera voice

  • @Dogman36 lol he finaly did

  • @Dogman36 lol he finaly did

  • @Dogman36 Sod that, just lap the origional TopGear Track.

  • what a trip!! Just takin some time off from Metal Mulisha, to this has to be Zawesome!!

  • yeah, we in europe all have like 1.2-1.3 liter cars, only sport cars have bigger engines.

  • the more I see tanner race the more of a fan I become.

  • No, they ARE high performance cars, in rally, not street. 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, costs about 2 or 3 mill NOK (554,000USD) to build and about 1 mill to run for one season. Small, fast easy to turn, perfect for all kinds of rally that's run on tracks.

  • Tanner I'll suck your stick

  • there is reasons why us euros use smaller engines and the usa dont as much, our roads are completely different and dont need huge engines plus with all the emmission laws its just not practical

  • One question, this model of fiesta exist in usa?

  • @vash180785 It exists in wagon trim, but not in AWD Trubo trim.

  • @vash180785 Only if you are a professional driver and/or have lots of money you`ll have this model in the USA.

  • foust>block

  • @thelegacyofdan me>you

  • This should be sold as Fiesta ST! Why Ford does not offer a 4WD version to the public? This would be awesome car. Instead we will get under-steer all the way.. :(

  • @driftoholik Have you driven an ST? Ford supposedly dropped 4WD on the development of Focus RS as they felt it made the car too heavy.

A road going 300 BHP 4WD Fiesta RS would be phenomenal, but I can't see it happening in the current financial climate.

  • @driftoholik at least there are techniques and suspension settings to combat understeering.

  • @driftoholik ford tried a 4wd version of the focus rs but the dive system was too heavy and decided to use fwd which was just as fast due to it weighing a lot less, i assume they did the same with the fiesta

  • ok nice so how much?

  • @freddy692000 Top specification European rallycross cars are around 250,000 Euros (about $360,000).

  • did tanner mean the transfer case or are there 3 differentials on this car? Also when he said "this is a 4wd vehicle so it disconnects" do all 4wd vehicles disconnect central dif or is it just for these modded race cars?

  • @vboytan A transfer case may or may not include a centre differential. He was referring to the centre differential. When you pull the handbrake in a car like this or something like a Mitsubishi Evo with ACD (Active Centre Differential) it disengages power to the rear wheels so the handbrake isn't fighting the power coming from the rear and centre differentials.

  • @Nightrun I see thanks for the response. So does the central diff negate the necessity for a rear diff? Or are there still 3 diffs present on this vehicle?

  • @vboytan 3, but theyre all limited slip/locking.

  • Only Tanner Foust can make a Fiesta look good.

  • prefer Tanner Foust than Ken

  • Love this Fiesta, and the old ones... Rally Spec is sooo evil looking

  • @GTchannel is there any chance that we see more action from that Fiesta?

    thanks

  • looks dope

  • i love the car buh i miss the days of subaru and evos ruling wrc

  • I'll take two. One Red and one Blue.

  • Europe is a continent Tanner....NOT A COUNTRY....at least you can drive tho :)

  • omg 50 pounds of boost??!!??

  • ford if you made a street version of one of these i will abandon my jdm

  • fords fuckin gay

  • WOW!!!!

    50lbs of boost?!?!?!

  • i never thought a ford fiesta could look so nice

  • tanner its very real guy.block its so fake.thumbs up if you agree that

  • @vagenrider KB is a great DRIVER one of the best I've ever seen, but he's a terrible racer thats the difference between him and Foust

  • @shadow2389

opinions shut the fuck up kid

  • @TheRedDash no its not an opinion you dipshit KB has never placed above 5th place in a rally event and when they raced at the X games Tanner won.

  • @shadow2389

ill say this once more. Opinions STFU thanks

  • @TheRedDash i dont orders from morons who dont know the difference between FACT and opinion so I think you should STFU :)

  • is it even fair to call this a fiesta anymore? i mean it has the stock ford badge... thats about all it has in common with the fiesta on your local car lot.

  • dear gran turismo add this to #6 plz

  • @mrsides89 gt series is shit.

  • Love the Fiesta in race guise but the WRC version is still my favourite.

  • Pocket Rocket

  • 50 POUNDS OF BOOST!!! what??

  • Wouldnt you love rolling up to a big burly V8 at the traffic lights with one of these bad boys looking as stock as possible? I dont think I need to say what I would do next ;D

  • Thank you tanner foust for the tour! hahah sick ride

  • First Ken, now Tanner? why do some of the greatest power sliders here have to be taken away into the ford line? :( I liked the Sti and even though I don't like the snion so much since it isn't RWD anyways... but since he converted it i was fine... up to a point... but now... this is just BALOGNA!

  • sti is cooler

  • 50 PSI!!????

  • @SnowAura1337 A-F*CKING-MEN!!!!!!!!

  • 50psi !?

  • sick ride!

  • i like

  • Nice to see the trend in having a rear mounted radiator.

Hey just wondering in general, how much would one of these machines cost? maintain?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIronTank probably over 100 grand for the car, and probably 10 grand every few months/?

  • @TheIronTank in another interview he said close to a quarter of a million. as for maintain... its a rally car... hehe

  • @TheIronTank i think just for the engine its £30,000 and the car itself is £20,000 and to maintain proburbly a couple of grand a to replace broken or worn out parts

plus i think its funny how americans dont expect that much horsepower out of a 2.0l engines XD

  • @TheIronTank my guess would be somewhat over 50.000usd+maintance=infinite. rly depends for what and how much do you use the car.

  • @TheIronTank believe mee in europe fiestas are common cars every street there are at least 2

  • @Tanner69Foust Its true there are Fiesta's in every street - but not ones like this...

  • @tbtstt Unfortunately :(

  • @TheIronTank Top specification European rallycross cars are around 250,000 Euros (about $360,000).

Rear mounted radiators is pretty old hat in rallycross cars; weight is removed from the front of the car and the radiators are removed from harms way!

  • @TheIronTank Trend!?!?!? WoW I take it that you never looked at the WRC before.

  • @killercrx91 To be fair its been a while since cars used in the WRC featured a rear radiator setup.

  • @tbtstt So it bean don before so how is it a trend?

  • @killercrx91 The rear radiator setup has appeared in a few other race disciplines recently so I guess you could call it a recent "trend". As I said in my first reply to @TheIronTank though, rear radiator setups have been used in rallycross for a number of years and were used on some of the classic Group B rally cars, so its not a new idea.

  • @TheIronTank to buy one have a look on the ford wrc website, they have loads of wrc cars on there. a focus wrc will cost at least £200,000 so a newer fiesta is probably double that

  • @TheIronTank i'd say, at least 70k or 100k dollars.. just modding it, not taking into account the engineering project and such.

about maintenance.. idk, but probably the gas mileage is not very good lol

  • @TheIronTank i saw a similar subaru on tv, it was worth £800,000.

  • @favernoogon sounds reasonable. time to play the lottery xD

  • he would be an awesome dad

  • ya and 8 feet per gallon JUST GREAT

  • @bigandbad9 ya but you can go 0 to 8 feet in just a blink. lol

  • a true american driving hero... unlike ken block.

  • @colenbrak they both drive ford....

  • @MrSweetleaf92 you think i don't know that? how is it relevant?

  • @colenbrak how is block not an american driver?

  • @MrSweetleaf92 ken block IS american, just a really shitty driver.

  • @colenbrak Uh i`m guessing you`ve never seen him rally or drift huh. I saw him in Kenya rally racing he`s got skills so before you smash people know more about them

  • @slyzxx1 i do know about him. of course he has skills, he is just wayyy worse than his competition. he couldn't outdrift any formula D driver and can't even win at the sport he made popular, gymkhana.

  • @colenbrak I dont see how anyone could think that. otherwise he wouldnt have several sponsors or partake in profesional rallycross and drift events

  • @MrSweetleaf92 this is why he has sponsors, and is able to partake in events: He founded DC, began doing rally america with DC as his sponsor, did the Gymkhana videos, became an internet celebrity, gained more sponsors and popularity. All of this allowed him to do things that no similarily skilled driver could do. don't get me wrong, he doesn't loose every event, just most of the time. he sure as hell doesn't come in first, ever.

  • @colenbrak well said. thanks for the info, never saw it like that

  • @MrSweetleaf92 no problem, most of his fans don't know that.

  • @MrSweetleaf92 Sponsors don't always look for very talented people. If you get a huge fan base and noticed you can get sponsored, even reasonably skilled drivers. There are probably amateur drivers better then block, but they can't get themselves noticed.

  • I would like to see ford to make some street tuner verison of these rides

  • @isaiah213 No shit huh! As soon as the domestic market starts making cars more like this, they can compete with the imports in popularity and sales. Instead, we get a Focus and a Neon... BOOO.

  • @isaiah213 next year Ford will show new Fiesta ST with 1,6L turbo and 180 HP... search on net , its look realy nice

  • @isaiah213

we have them in Europe, it's the ST and RS version. The RS has 250 hp. Nice little car!

  • soo siick

  • tanner looks like rhys millen in this vid lmao

  • OMG SECOND!

  • first!!
