By the way..iPhone does rule for games , Nokia has good sound quality from the speaker (and headphones) so does the Blackberry. Touchscreen or keypad to your own convenience and size of your fingers.

Im with sprint and have the 8530 but I went to an ATT store just to check out the 9700.. I knew of this older Bold but had know idea how THIN it was! I thought it was much bulkier in person but it wasnt. This phone is really cool and has lots of character. The sales guy there says its what he uses and loves it. The bigger screen is sick

I got this phone about a month ago and I've really enjoyed it.

I really love the keyboard and the UI and the screen resolution are very nice.

The only thing I would say I don't necessarily like about it is when I use the browser and I want to scroll to something quickly, I can't really do that. But otherwise its a great phone

Well it doesn't matter if yo listen to music allot, because both can run the same exact music software/OS. The 9700 (I think) has a higher quality screen, smaller form-factor, MUCH better camera/quality and it has the better track-pad not track-ball. I would go for the 9700

Well, Verizon has more 3G coverage in the United States. But I've had both and can tell you from experience that they are both great. But if you're looking to go overseas and around the world, then AT&T is your best choice. I'm not sure how reliable Verizon is outside the United States.
