Any Muslim could leave Islam if he/she wishes to do so. As an example I’ve seen young Muslim with a student visa converted to Christianity just to get a permanent visa to stay in Australia. @irishxxkelt I used to work for two of the worlds largest charities. and yes, a lot of the rich people and rich companies want their names recognized. Some actually will harass the charities. Some do it for the tax receipts :( There are also so many Islamic charities that do lot's of work in so many countries, they also partner with different organizations and other charities when there is a disaster.

We generally do not hear about those charities in the west because we have 2 or three very large charities that people here generally donate to. However, some charities here also have islamic sister charities as well. There are many wealthy Arabs that do contribute but they do not like to be known for their donations.

They converted for a reason not a believe. It is not what you imagine that someone would kill them. In fact I feel pity for the churches as we see them trying to get quantities by converting the needy, hungry and weak because they can’t get quality.

@irishxxkelt I used to work for two of the worlds largest charities. and yes, a lot of the rich people and rich companies want their names recognized. Some actually will harass the charities. Some do it for the tax receipts :( There are also so many Islamic charities that do lot's of work in so many countries, they also partner with different organizations and other charities when there is a disaster.

You cannot believe that people were angry when they thought that they couldn't claim their donation for Haiti on their tax return, and would have to wait for the following year, well, until the gov told them it was permissible. I had a very famous person willing to donate thousands but only if they could dictate how it should and shouldn't be used. Very angry when we told them no.

We generally do not hear about those charities in the west because we have 2 or three very large charities that people here generally donate to. However, some charities here also have islamic sister charities as well. There are many wealthy Arabs that do contribute but they do not like to be known for their donations.

Values of good and bad will vary with everyone and we should appreciate everyones rights to like or dislike something or a value or an act. But people should not hate each other.
