Fact is that Guede's DNA is all over the place and there is no trace of Amanda or Rafaelle in that room (the only "evidence," the bra clasp, was deemed unreliable). They could not have cleaned up their traces without cleaning up Guede's too. It doesn't matter if she's American or not, she didn't do it.

Even with contamination, Knox's DNA still wasn't found in the room. Definitely innocent. - She lied when first arrested
- She blamed an innocent man
- Her DNA found on the knife handle, victims on the blade, knife found at her boyfriends house (disputed)
- Seen having an animated discussion with her boyfriend (claims she was at home)
- Seen in a shop morning after by a different witness (claims she was at home)
Not enough evidence to convict but I will always question her innocence.

The fact that she was young and pretty didn't help her at all. In fact, the media played on that and made sure people hated her BECAUSE she was young, white and pretty. The REAL story is also the fact that she was FRAMED by the prosecution.

Shouldn't have even gone to trial. Evidence was shocking. The Italian forensics and police have let this whole investigation down from the start. To me though, she seems innocent.

@wiyyiyum Agree! I literally spent over an hour reading about the entire murder/trial and I could not believe Knox and Sollecito were convicted for sexual assault! I would like to know on what account the prosecutors had to back up this foolish claim. I also can't believe people are throwing the "of course blame the black guy" out there when his DNA was found on and INSIDE her as well the bloody handprint on the pillow. Doesn't help anyones case that he also has a criminal record!

@acuralegend07 exactly! it was took to trial because there was some "evidence" in the first trial, then the appeal showed the amount of flaws in the case. Even with contamination, Knox's DNA still wasn't found in the room. Definitely innocent. And this whole race claim always seems to come up, despite the fact that he did it clearly, his dna was everywhere. People dont accept that the black guy is in prison for it BECAUSE HE DID IT but the white girl isnt BECAUSE SHE DIDNT DO IT. Ignorance.

@wiyyiyum REGARDLESS, women often get preferential treatment from the law. you realize that (in the past 40 yrs) almost 180 men have been put to death, some on the mere assumption of guilt. only 2 women, who've committed some of the most heinous crimes in this country's history, have gotten the same fate. i can't help but believe the amount of attention this trial garnered in america is due to the fact that she's female. a male in the same circumstance would have been treated differently.

You know you can tell she is lying. I ain't no expert but, she moves her hands up and down constantly this is what humans do when they try to show desperation. In real desperation your movements tends to less and slower and not match your speech patterns. She also looks slightly distracted this is also a sign of lying as the mind try's to sway from what she is saying to th truth.
