  • I loves me some Gwyneth. :-)

  • @PorkoRoso OLE

  • Some life gweneth has. Make millions from crappy movies then drive around and eat all day without a care in the world.

  • Is that the lead singer of " Ketama" singing with Willie Nelson? If it is, too bad we don't hear more of him.....

  • Alguien sabe donde puedo conseguir la canción? :)

  • @PorkoRoso iluso

  • Oh who really cares? Spain depends on tourism for its main revenue and it is behind many european nations. It is convenient for the world leaders to keep south america as a 3rd world country in order to prevent growth and loss of land which will be very valuable in the future due to the lack of food humans will face in the future.

The mexicans should be proud of their culture as the spainaids are of theirs. By the way I am an american living in europe!!!!

  • @mironick3 an also they happen to be very racist when it comes to Brazilian people...and this is something that I haven´t seen a while in US where people really respects you as a tourist!!!

  • Erm... What's the name of the song?

  • Who cares!!! We should appreciate all cultures. Spain has problems just like Mexico: wifebeaters, wifekillers and alot of unemployment and social issues. So lets cut the crap. Mexico is beautiful and Spain is beautiful. There are ugly and beautiful people in both countries.

  • Well anyway I have been in the archives and have trace our ancestors mostly from Northern Spain and Madeira, Portugal.

Our language spanish came from Spain, our foods such as chorizo, fideo churros came from Spain, Bullfighting came from Spain. Our haciendas and ranchos came from Spain

    Hablas espanol ilargitxo2??

  • ilargitxo2 seems to be someone that is jealous that latin america has spanish roots.

ilargitxo2 probably is non european that wants to live in spain and is jealous with envy that Spain is the mother country of most of latin america

  • I like this show about Spain because it gives us a tourist view. Thank you to the cast for bringing us the show and giving us a chance to see the delicious food, culture and people of Spain

  • We have a monastery in Guadalupe, Zacatecas, Mexico that was founded by Friar Antonio Margil De Jesus in 1707. Friar Antonio Margil De Jesus founded a lot of churches in our area and he originated from Valencia, Spain. My ancestors originated from Zaragoza, Espana and Madiera Island, Portugal to Zacatecas, Mexico in 1573

  • Our archtecture of the colonial cities in Mexico such as the states of Zactecas, Guanajuato and Guerrero where built by our spanish ancestors with the discovery of Silver. We live near the shrine of "El Santo Nino De Atocha in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. A lot of silver was taken from Mexico to Spain. We also have a Cofradia here.

  • I saw an episode and I fell in love with the show and the people. After Spain the should travel Mexico and taste tthe food and the best Tequila in the world.

  • I agree Mexico is not like Spain. That is why I think they should explore it. Why not?

  • Comment removed

  • Yes I know Mexico and Spain are different. My father is from Mexico and my mother is from Spain, so I've been to both places. It was just a sugestion. Sorry if it got to you. It was not my intention to be a bother.

  • your point of view is completely ahistorical. They do have things in common. 300 hundreds years of colonizations, wasn't that enough to leave some sort of legacy? You are those kind of people who believes cultures are pure, they are not, through contact we have redefine who we are. They not only left their language, they left their religion, their system of law, education, everyday traditions, music, family values.

Many of the problems Mexico has today is the legacy of Spain as well.

  • you need to work on that inferiority complex.

  • Comment removed

  • you are full of hate of others than are not like you that's why you need to point out the difference. work on that.

for Americans your country continues to be a bullfighting ring.

    tolerance and respect.

  • and the Northern Europeans laugh at you

  • you have this idea that Europe is this cultural unit when in fact Europe is very diverse. The balkans have significant numbers of Muslism like Albanians for example.

who is easier to assimilate in Spain, A Swedish immigrant or a Latin American immigrant?

  • moron ,obviously the latin american only because he speaks the same language would it be easier for a english speaking black canadian to assimilate in england or a french person(who speaks no english)?

  • let me call you a moron and see if you like it.

the point is that even thougth they SPEAK the language, they face as much dislike/contempt as the other immigrants who don't speak the fucking language. So they don't like you regardless of what you do.

  • it's not nice to call people names

  • That is very true! specially indians like mexicans and venezuelans. they don't realize how ghetto they can be as their normal behavior.

  • IF so... you must be one of the low 9% that of the total population of spain descendent. But every one in the world knows your all indians. You guys like to use the Latin word like it means a community, or what's worse, a race get over your self Spaniard are classie white europeans with great history and culture not some bow and arrow user!! and by the way the only true Hispanic descendent over in the americas are PR, Cuban and Argentinians, the rest are very very less descendent from Spain Plz!

  • You think civilization is a skin color. You couldn't be more shallow. go get an education

What is Europe? I would ask you. It's Europe a fucking skin color, a race? or is it a culture than was spread all over the world? the history of Europe is the history of the World.

Europeans are not all the same.

you think you have more things in common with an Icelandic than with those Mexican Indians who were robbed of their own culture and language. Latin America is a hybrid continent/culture.

  • No one said the SAME, but there are influences. You always feel the need to point out that you are white, but that is changing because of immigration. then what will you say??

I'm European history student. You seem pretend that Spain left no imprint in Latin America.

Cultures are not really that different, the world is becoming smaller. are we really that different?? competetly different as you want to believe? Many tradions in Mexico come from Spain, or do they come from China?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not a bad student, I just made a brief point, we don't have the time to explain everything here. here is an example of some history.

why is corruption in mexico so bad? well during the colonial era Spanish empire used to sell offices and administrative postions in the colonies, which created a very corrupt political culture in which you can buy your way into power. and they are many other examples. the present doesn't come from nowhere, there's a history.

  • Mexico was a colony of spain. Spain took a lot of silver from the silver mines several cities of the state of Zacatecas such as Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Sombrete. Also San Miguel Allende in Guanjuato. We are direct descendants in the colonial section of mexico
