Language is really interesting

The problem censoring most of blood/fight w/e scenes because they are dedicated for children, Iv heard in arabic world , 13+ they stop watching animes

I watched Slam Dunk at the age of 7~8 it was funny(cause they changed some conversations of life troubles and such into jokes). And lets face it, kids only want to enjoy their time, so why do we teach them youth's problems before they even reach teenage?

I watched the jap + arabic versions. Blv me, the Arabic one is funnier(Note: I love japan so I'm not trying to insult them) But REALLY the voice actor of Sakuragi is funnier and there are scenes that are: In jap=boring. In Arabic=cracks me up XD

I have to agree on that , the arabic dubbed version of Slam Dunk is freaking funny ! although in the arabic they don't show Haurko's crush on Rukawa very much , but Sakuragi and his goons are hilarious in arabic !

But the Arabic version was funnier. There are SERIOUS scenes in Japanese that were changed into Comedy scenes in Arabic. There are parts when, in Japanese, the voice actor talks normally but in the Arabic version he talks in a funny way. But surely, the plot was clearer in Japanese.

I kinda prefer the japanese version. The arabic version is a bit.. forced... like they forced themselves to sing on the original japanese tune. They should've made a different OP :P

i like the japanese tone too , i watched slam dunk in both arabic and japanese , and i speak japanese fluently , believe it or not , the arabic dubbed version of this anime is actually better than the original japanese.
