What was the mod actually about compared to Half-Life?

@LarryBundyJr As far as I could tell, it was about the main character (the one in the protective mask) fighting off a different alien invasion at the same time Gordon was dealing with his alien problems.

Sadly, it's in Spanish, so I didn't understand most of the story. Think of it as another part of the original Half Laife, Like Opposing Force and blue Shift.

It's great. Well, if you look past the spanish, in my case.

@dkozba001 You play as Gordon Mcginly ( I think thats how you spell it) And you happen to be enjoying your normal job at Black Mesa, but then the Xen aliens invade, and you try to fight your way out, and encounter a new breed of cosmic life, stereotypical Grey aliens. And you are then given a choice: to take one of their Flying saucers into the mothership and destroy it, or to go to Xen and fight. Either path leads to the same ending. :)

@dkozba001 yep! its him.. but the main character of this mod is gordon mcginley (the one on the center) ok the story is your some blackmesa personell whos gonna deliver a xen crystal to some area to the game via cart. then thats how the sample was delivered to gordon. then thats the end of the training room for a while then the next day your'e just gonna head on to work then the resconance cascade happens then you go escape the blackmesa research facility then you get stuck with some aliens

You need the ORIGINAL Half-Life, not Half-Life: Source.

Half-Life Source doesn't have the option to play "Custom Games" which is how you run the mods in the original.
