how do you add your tracking data to an object.also, how do you add the seperate data for tracking mouth movments(in motion builder)and add them together?
I recommended to use "Face-Ware" software from image-metrics. Which is highly advanced Facial expression capture. Which doesn't require any dots/spots on your face.
I've considered making my own movie exactly like FF7 the movie. Anyone know what software and tools are the best to use? I've heard of blender but can it do it all?
i think u shoul explain more detail, we r not all pro...:S, i need more details about how can i do some think similar to the traking box...please anyone can help me?
If you are a student (have a .edu email adress), you can download all the academic versions of the Autodesk software both legally and for free. Just go to students.autodesk.com
FYI - You can it a PLE (Personal Learning Edition) of Max, Maya, Mudbox, and many other software free for 13 months. All you have to do is use your Campus email (the one ending in '.edu' when you register at Autodesk.com, this software has all the main functionality of the Pro versions but cannot be used for commercial apps. But this is still a good way to learn the programs. ;-)
Isn't Boujou insanely expensive also? Last I heard a license for that was in the 10ks. But between buying multile tracking cameras and an insanely expensive program license... it's safe to bet that there's no easy solution for independant workers.
AutoDesk offers this product FREE to students (that includes college). Check that out, I bet a lot of you didn't know this. Thumbs this up so more people will see it.
dude, wye woudent youy just stick 4 qr codes on the sides of your head, there are programs allready desined to follow those and theyr direction, eaven their deformation,so you dont have to have a square box
hi man, hey.. when import camera tracking in maya an errror occur and show me that..The namespace name ' ' contains no legal characters, only can import escene but without the background image..i tried with matchmover and boujou..what is the steps for import in maya.. first open the escene with the 3d objet to incrust in real envrioment and then select import to camera traking..or open the camera tracking direct in maya..thanks for the help
First, where do I get a piece of paper to cut up into little squares? Then, there is the problem of pen acquisition, then of course, finally, my widdle head is neva gonna get dis. I'm going to the Bahamas and shoot sleeping tourists instead.
I think my brain is leaking a little.....that was a powerful presentation. Great work, I have been wrestling with motion capture and camera tracking and this video helped me get a better concept.
this is what i wanted to see! does it also work with other 3d tracking programs that are also compatible with maya?! cause i got maya with a 3d tracking program which comes with maya! yet, i worked with it only to get some 3d models into footage but does it work with it?
you have tow possibilities either you export the geometry of your animation into your fav composition package or you use Boujou it works just fine with maya's files
Not that i didn't think this was possible already but this vid really dose help me when it comes to theorizing how to film so i could drop effects into a shot.
Fantastic break down of how things here would be used and applied.
@slackdave I have MAYA, and a teen but I'm not rich, what I did was that I downloaded it from VUZE in several parts, it took several weeks, but I've got it, the problem is that is pretty hard to use and it takes time to do semthing, from creating to animation.
