This shows all haters that Dragonforce CAN play live. I hate seeing comments saying that they edit their songs in the studio and have no talent. Well, this song facepalms you.
@LimppuLord Alright, you shall be forgotten, Solider of the Wasteland. If it were for someone else they'd probably send you to the Valley of the Damned, the land Where Dragons Rule. (yes, I know this joke is overused. sue me)
This was an amazing performance, the best on the Twilight Dementia album. In fact, it's so good that it's a rare case where the live version is actually BETTER than the studio recording. I don't know how they did it, but this performance was just tightly, perfectly executed. Then you bring in the crowd involvement, and it adds this extra layer of emotion to this already epic masterpiece.
I'm not saying I'm glad ZP Theart left, but his voice was starting to give out. Dragonforce needs to just recharge their batteries, and get a fresh, ambitious singer. Thumbs up if you agree.
Dude, its a concert, they were on tour. This could have been later in the show after he'd been singing for a few hours after singing every night for a month. In case you didn't know, that can wear someone ones voice out for a while. Also, the quality of someone singing voice isn't constant, it can vary from one day to the next. This was probably an off day.
@xSkraelingx Despite all those factors you listed, I actually think this was an ON day. This performance was very tightly executed. I think it's better than the original studio recording.
It's brillant how Dragonforce is better live than on the CD! Love it!
