  • tae kwon do guy is not a master but at the end of the day fear does play a big roll, if you look closer you can see him moving back and not completing his kicks, One jump spin kick right on the chin of the thai man would of turn the fight.

  • these are pussy sports compared to Krav Maga!

  • Tae Kwon Do is focused on winning a 3 point match, not a real fight. I see the value of Tae Kwon Do, but to put him against a thai fighter is just plain mean because anyone who knows anything about martial arts knows whats gonna happen to the poor Tae Kwon Do guy lol.

  • poor kid

  • sorry to break it to u guys, taekwondo is a joke and good for wannabes , it will never be a fighting art like wrestling, muay thai or boxing, its a art like jung fu and wing chun, just a waste of time if u wanna be a fighter

  • I WOULD SAY AT OF MOST FIGHT THE THAI BOXER WOULD WIN VS TAE KWON DO

  • not all tae kwon do vs thai boxing fights end that way!

  • Hes not a master hes a red belt

  • TKD masters don't typically wear red belts.

  • TKD is as effective as unleashing oragami swans on someone

  • Tae Kwon Do is effective when a person isn't tired, but after long shuffling effectiveness falls fast. Kick boxing will be more practical long run unless kickboxer gets into Tae Kwon Do fighter range of kick prematurely.

  • @symmetry08 Tae Kwon Do is also more effective when the martial artist practicing it knows wtf he's doing.

  • i did taekwondo itf for 5years, now i do kickboxing, i love those spinning hook kicks haha, then never see it coming :)

  • this is why i like kyokushin karate it teaches you to stand there and fight not jump aroun all over the place. thats the one thing i dont like about TKD jumping around.

  • Comment removed

  • wow...not a master....A real Master can absorb those kicks then counter with ease...this is embarrassing...

  • MASTER MY ASS

I AM A SECOND DAN IN TAEKWONDO AND BELIVE ME IS NOT A BLACK BELT ...... NOT IN MY SCHOOL ANYWAY!

  • of course it's not the art u practice but how hard u practice it and how seriously, however there is allways some disadvantages in some combat styles, taekwondo relys too much on legs and kicks, when muay thai brings the oponent down by taking out his legs with low kicks, so it's like taekwondo is the tree and the tai the lumberjack. plain and simple, taekwondo is useless, much more than muay tai. still muay tai also sucks cuz there is few muay tai users who dont expose there face while kicking

  • it depends of the fighters but muay thay has better drills to win a fight

  • A man who can´t block a low kick is not a master. A man who can´t block ten low kicks, is a disaster.

  • Looks like the big kid won!

  • hilarious... exposed.

  • i really want to see one of them fight against a grizzly bear :P

  • Please change the title to WTF Taekwondo beginner

  • run master run....if your legs don't hurt:)))

  • where is brutal thing?

  • I used to fight like this, but then I took an arrow to the knee

  • hes lucky he didnt snap his leg

  • The problem with TKD and Karate is its restrictions, they have been watered down into sport and are no longer fighting arts. You can't fight sport against real fighting techniques. When I did Korean Karate (basically TKD) I was so frustrated by not being allowed straight punches, elbows, knees, low kicks etc.

  • people first of all realise all martial arts have their strengths and weaknesses. Also martial arts dont matter, they all come down to the fighter and how they have adapted their chosen style to suit them.

ps i am a Blackbelt in ITF tae kwon do and i have done muay thai and a little ground fighting

  • why does this say taekwon-do master, when the guy is clearly a red belt. whoever posted this is an idiot

  • no such thing as fighting ppl 2 day a gun comes out and shoots bullets a fight last 30 secs after that a gun knives gangs come 4get about a fair fight dose not matter what style u do its just good as a sport

  • EN DONDE ESTA EL MAESTRO D TKD.....???ESE ES UN AFICIONADO...UN VERDADERO MAESTRO LO ACABABA AL BOXER....

  • yeee yeee yeee yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee yee yeee ye ye yee yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee wtf is that all about

  • pinche taekwondoin eres una desonrra para el tkd

  • omg.....master my ass (he is a red belt)

I startet Tae Kwon Do when I was 4 years old and did it for 18 years and I have a lot of fighting experience.

Its true, that its mostly feeds and blocks, but that is so because you need nothing else because no one can come close to you, if you have realy fast legs (widest range and most power).

But I have to admit that I learned many other styles to make up for its lackings, so that I can use all of my body as a weapon.

Every martial art has its value

  • @Hellracer7777777 True,, i also had to practice box and judo, im from México and taekwondo masters in here arent THAT good either.

  • @Hellracer7777777 I too have been doing tkd since I was 4, but I've only done it for 14 years. I completely disagree with you with "no one can come close to you if you have really fast legs." Catching the legs or just simply checking a TKD kick with your shin or knee is enough to slow down TKD fighters significantly. Also, if you are fighting in a ring, you have very very very little space to run. The way to win against any pure TKD fighter is to check, wrestle, block and punch, or ring control.

  • @Hellracer7777777 Red is a new black.

  • @Hellracer7777777 I did Tae kwon do too... i find that the most balanced and practical styles are the ones that have been used in the military. Eg.. Hapkido, Silat, Muay Thai, Eagle Claw, krav maga, Sambo etc. I'm most fond of Hapkido, Aikido and Ninjustu...

  • that isn't a taekwondo master he is totaly a NOOB !

  • why would anyone want to waste their time training how to fight mainly with their feet when the body has other weapons such as knees, elbows and fists..

  • To everyone in here defending TAEKWANDO, give me ONE video where they are in a fight and wins against another style. Just ONE video.. PLEASE.

  • @dhaio shut up: /watch?v=4dCPD4sCsto&feature=related

  • @dhaio Some real TKD, not the olympic crap u watch on tv : /watch?v=cLabBQaWM88

  • @dhaio look up Stephen Tapilatu, Serkan Yilmez, lyoto machida, cung lee, Andy hug. Those are karate/TKD guys that beat muay thai guys on regular basis.

  • @dhaio type ehsan shafiq

  • @dhaio watch?v=1-hs_F3KdIY&feature=related

  • LOL Kick boxing R u kiding me,, Ofcousre kickboxing won..

  • THIS IS NO TAEKWONDO MASTER GOT IS BELT ON E-BAY

  • sweep the leg .... nm

  • Oiiii Oiiiii Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii............. suck my dick!

  • @MidiMurderer Exactly, there are three things that stick out in Muay Thai over all Striking Martial Arts. Or stand up martial arts. 1) they build resistance on shin and arms. 2) they they use all 8 legs, (elbows, shins, fists, knees.) 3) they use all their body when they strike. (Like a whip) This is why it is the prefered striking martial art in the MMA.

  • I'm sorry, but TKD looks little more than a kind of girls' kicking match.

  • its not master he is a noob..

  • HEY! HEY! HEY! HEEEY! HEEEEEY! AY! AY! AY! HEEEEEEEY! AAAAAAY!

  • that is the shittest, most terrible fight ive ever seen, neither of those two men have any technique. i have seen drunken college hooligans with superior skill to those men.

  • @GarethHeverin

mmmmkay, the tkd guy has represented finland in a nordic countries tournament and the muay thai fighter had something like 10 pro wins and no losses. sure, they weren't world class fighters but sure as hell they had great technique.

  • there should be alexander lo rei fighting with thai boxer

  • the taekwondo guy only has a red belt.....why is he fighting another martial art when he hasn't even learned taekwondo?

  • rarely today somobody improves the real power of taekwondo...

  • fuck TKD

  • tkd noob

  • "Sweep the leg."

  • TKD.... What about JKD! TKD nub cant even fight. of course Thai Boxer will win, they spar every day!

  • well , the problem with taekwondo is that they seldom use their hands during competitions , so , when other martial artists charges at them , they get pushed to the corner . \

one tip for the taekwondo master , try to find the best timing to use your headkicks to knockout that muay thai kickboxer

  • 1:09 FAIL hahahahahahah!!!

  • god this is stupid by any student of tae kwon do need to know that someone against Thai boxer or Thai mua you can not fight by far the Thai mua boy is much higher com I would like to see brian foster or others to see

  • taekwondo is useless against muay thai from all the videos that i've seen . but i'll still take it that there's no superior martial art .

    i trained goju kai karate

  • @555hansy haha some time check this video taekwondo vs muay thai perfect knock out

  • I got my blackbelt in TKD & trained kickboxing for 5 years. I would rape both of them at the same time.

  • TKD master?? really?? no.

  • Muay Thai is brutal, every video ive seen of muay thai vs TKD, the TKD guy gets hes ass kicked

  • @reptilianbloodline TKD is used for fighting people in TKD competition. They focus on doing flashy spins and kicks because thats what gets them points in competition while muay thai is more for 'real world' fighting

  • the tekwondo guy is VERY far from a master... hes a red belt... those are hardly dangerous...

  • @mig8830 No TKD fighters are dangerous.

  • tkd noob

  • There is no best martial art, they are all the same. If u think Muay thai is better than TKD, you should quit watching martial art videos, cuz its waste of time.

I Do both TKD and muay thai, they are both badass. It all depends on the fighter himslef.

  • @MrColdheadRadioplay It not only depends on the fighter, but also the training :)

  • @daaskapital1

    dah of course :)

  • @MrColdheadRadioplay No es que uno sea mejor o peor.. pero la diferencia esta en luchar con una persona que no tiene codos, antebrazo, manos, ni rodillas..

  • @MrColdheadRadioplay I do MMA - some martial arts are better than others in certain range of fighting. I love wrestling and in the takedown phase I'll take you down 9 our of 10 times. I can't say I would be dominating in takedowns doing TKD. According to your comment I should be just as good in takedowns doing TKD.

  • @MrColdheadRadioplay No sir, taekwondo has it's strengths, but as a complete self defense or fighting system, Muay Thai is definitely more complete and 'modern.' I say modern because the way Muay Thai is taught can be directly translated into a fight. For taekwondo however, you have to do a lot of adapting and learning of a few other styles before you can do anything effective with it.

  • @StL33T Anything effective against another champion, that is. In 95% of all self-defence situations, most (if not all) styles are incredibly effective - provided the person knows what he's doing (as opposed to this dumbass). I mean, I got green belt myself... what's his excuse?

  • @DrMadolite ... The reason why people learn different styles in the first place is becuase they WANT to LEARN how to do what they're doing. Also, unless you post a video of yourself fighting, please don't flaunt and talk as if you're better than any of the fighters, by that I am targeting at your line "I mean, I got a green belt myself... what's his excuse?"

  • @StL33T I wasn't flaunting at all, I was doing the exact opposite. The sentence "I mean, I got a green belt myself... what's his excuse" was my way of saying that this guy makes the same mistakes as I would've done in the ring. That hardly qualifies him as a master, because I only got a green belt.

In either case, my main point was that the effectiveness of a given style is mostly dictated by how good that individual person is at applying it. Then comes the other things too, of course.

  • @DrMadolite And that's basic natural laws concerning "How you use your body 101" regardless of whether we're talking about martial arts or whatever. You don't need the body memory to apply the techniques in order to know what techniques are correct or not. Or else ALL coaches in the world would also be the best performers in the world, which is not the case.

  • @MrColdheadRadioplay Except Hokuto no Ken... JK :P

  • TKD guy couldn't take the kicks of the Thai Boxer. His shin is probably like granite.

  • RED belt WEENIE . . . without any skills nor techniques, let alone TACTICS....

  • haha

  • Ummm Red belt isn't master my friends.

  • anyone who tries 2 say 1 is better then the other lacks the mental capacity to use any, go back to mma where the fags go. these arts are just that, so find an art forme that suits u and realise that 9 times out of 10 tai chi would win, but it's about having fun. someone who only cares about winning only looses in life

  • @funderbee So i presume that you lack the mental capacity to particpate in martial arts as well, lol. You totally contradicted yourself, according to your own statement, you should go to MMA where all the fags go. Bye bye, tai chi fag, lol.

  • TKD GUY : But he is not supposed to kick my legs and he is supposed to "snap" his kicks not "follow through" LOL

  • I guess the kickboxer wins this one

  • El pobre idiota no hace mas que ir hacia atras y recibir mas que una estera. Si no sabes mas que dar patadas altas y nada más, no te enfrentes con alguien que tiene más nivel que tu. Si no, pasa lo que se ve aquí

  • I guess tat tkd master shut down his school lol

  • @bukboy123 yea xD i thing so

  • man im usually the one that would be shitting on TKD, but this guy f'n sucks. you see mother fuckers go at it in the olympics? F'n CWAZY.

  • this guys tkd guy shouldnt be a black belt he gets tripped easly

  • RED BELT IS NOT MASTER!! NOOBS ^^

  • that guy is a damn looser.. a real master would knock out the other fighter.

  • That guy is obviously NOT a Tkd master.

  • tkd guy too afriad to do shit, and he gotta learn how to block them low kicks xD

  • ok first off all that inst a master if he doesnt know the one rule DONT BACK UP INTO A CORNER

  • Tkd sucks

  • I'm sorry, you are just a child so you shouldn't be expected to know what you are talking about. I did not mean to ruin your dreams about TKD but anything I say is only my personal opinion based only on my experience so it's ok not to agree.....but I will not argue! Take care

  • That taekwondo kid is not master because he got red belt

  • does red belt mean master in taokwondo

  • @MrDirrtyg He should be the scariest of them all. Yeah...

  • I seriously don't like these videos that imply that one style is superior to an other. The one guy was used to full contact sparring, the other guy wasn't. That's the difference here, not the style.

Of course it is true that there are many TKD practitioners who aren't because of the dominance of olympic TKD, but in fact TKD and Muay Thai share many techniques. Guys who go full contact will find out what works and what doesn't in any style. From then on it's all about the quality of the fighter.

  • WTF(world tkd federation) is not Taekwondo. That thai boxer choise really good tactic "dont give him chance to kick" when WTF fighter cant kick then cant fight. When you want see Taekwondo look on ITF.

  • i fell convinced i could do better technique wise. Taekwondo literally translates to art of fist and foot (sorry if off, remembering from while back)

  • heeeeeeeeeeeeeee...............heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..

  • are they match in size ??? the thai boxer looks bigger ... anyway ... tae kwondo is not punching ... they only kicking ... i think of course the MMA fightrsh will win most fight contests ... indeed .. they are mix martial art ... everything in there ... boxing, karate, wrestling, taekwondo (maybe), thai boxing, etc ...

  • @123peaceband123 Taekwondo is NOT just kicking.

  • there is no superrior martial arts but superrior martial artist's

  • @TheSlimLP Only TKD and Karate say that.

  • haha i love it to oai or ayy eyy all the thai's are sayn it at fight ;p

  • HEYYY...! HE LITERALLY KICK HIS ASSS....

  • you're only supposed to say "ooway" at clinch knees and swing kicks

  • @DamnCanucks Oh. Okay. e_e

  • Taekwondo Red Belt, Not master..

  • Its a WTF, not Taekwon-do!;)

  • yeah fortunately thai boxer has his legs...and tae kwon do master is not so master

  • Great footwork from the thai boxer, he fought with intimidation and really showed in his confidence, if you watch highlights of Thai Boxers such as Buakaw Por Pramuk ...... NEVER retreat from a Thai Boxer as they will build momentum and have your legs!

  • a fight between two martial arts which each one follows its own rules is just like giving to a man a pistol to destroy a tanki would like to see a real match between those arts with real fighters and no rules then we will see what goin on...

and who says taekwondo is gay??? try it my friend and then if you still think is gay i will agree..

  • @nikolastsangarides I have, and it is gay :) lol

  • needs to get his jumps in there

  • First Thai boxing is just a Fighitng Sport, while TKDo Martial Arts is. The sport is only to fight, while MA is for discipline and Self Defense.

Second you cant compare two fighting styles wich each other, cause each Martial Arts has its one strenght and weaknses, so to have an compare between Fighitng sports and Martial Arts, both of them have to train every Sport or MA to have an good compare, and even then its not perfect, cause the reasons why you do Sport or Martial Arts are to diferent.

  • EEEhhhhhh!

  • wtf is sport tkd, Itf is traditional

Red is below black in Tkd not first belt as in Japanese Ma. so he has experience of a good few years training!

virtually all Martial arts are taught with rules!

    MMA is a sport.

the ring is not a real life fighting environment! its controlled.

    the street is something different!

As its been said its not the art its the fighter!

  • @ChaosTURBO wtf MMA IS SPORT?? AND THE RING OF MMA IS NOT A REAL FIGHTING ENVIROMENT??

I WILL AGRY ABOUT SPORT BUT PZZ.........

  • all these one style vs other style are crap. I've seen a TKD fighter knock out a Thai boxer in the first 3 seconds of a match. none of this means crap about what style is better, and if you think it does, then you are the noob. what makes a good fighter is the fighter himself, not what style he does.

  • hahaha thats not a master hes a red belt!!!if it rly was a master he wouldnt start kiking before he found a opening my kung fu master always waits for me to attack then he kiks me while im putting my leg or arm down after i attacked

  • well i take choi kwang do thinking about kung fu after i get my black belt

  • this guy's tae kwon do not know a damn thing to fight is a donkey, took him.

  • this is reality all u tkd queers

  • @stickinmypants wtf are you talking about this is reality? and how is taekwondo gay? its actually a good art, sport and its fun and a good add-on for a mixed martial artist. ive done it and i do MMA so i think i know a little bit more

  • Taekwondo Master? He's a Red Belt!

  • the red belt doesnt mean master, it means noob

  • TKD for all practical purposes is a sport, Thai Boxing is a real fighting art, very practical for the street too.

  • this is an unfair match because u can only use kicks in tkd and while th other can use his hands to block and his feet to beat th shit outta mr.tkd man

  • This is WTF taekwondo. Its shame for tkd.

  • dude muay thai kicks hurt, its all the kinetic energy you can think off into that kick

  • he isnt even a black belt. in my opinon if you wanna go against a thai kick boxer you have to be atleast a black belt.

  • Tae kwon do is sloppy and will not work in a feal fight. I have personally beat 2 or 3 so called tae kwon do black belts and they all complain about getting hit in the face with my fist, in tae kwon do yo are not allowed to punch someone in the face hahahaaaa.

  • @WHYNOTMEB4U Tae Kwon Do you can get a black belt in like 2 years of training. My cousin got a black belt when he was 13 and started at 11

  • @DoctorSargeMD And if you Pay a bit more you can get it in 1 year,,.. Tae Kwon Do ...what a joke!!

  • @DoctorSargeMD well it depends on how hard the person trains. and the standards are very low now just for commercial sake so they can get more money from it. you don't have to know that much about fighting.

  • @WHYNOTMEB4U that's the WTF version of taekwondo. and that is a stupid version made for sporting around and they have many limiting rules so that you do not hurt the other person. so basically what you're left with is tagging the other person with your foot. and the object is to tag your opponent as many times as you can. just like in tag it doesn't matter how hard you you tag them just as long as it hits them. well anyways I have yet to see muay thai go up against a real taekwondo practitioner

  • @Zenthos01 Doesn't matter what "type" of TKD you are talking about, it sucks.

  • @WHYNOTMEB4U you've never seen the real kind in action so how would you know? tkd is so easy to get a black belt so you don't even know who's a real fighter. I think you said something about being sloppy. that's just the stupid untrained person not the martial art and i bet even if the person was doing MT they'd still be doing it sloppy. so obviously you haven't seen someone do tkd with powerful focused strikes so.

PS the TKD guy in this video is a disgrace.

  • EYYYYYY. EEYYYYYYYY

  • That's not a taekwondo master... He doesn't even got the black band

  • disgrace

  • I'm sure he is not a master

  • TDK has been breed down to classroom professionals w/ belts and degrees you earn by pretending you fight. They come up with judges and flags and scoreboards, with the ref waiting to see who got a "point". The goal=no one gets hurt and let the old guys pick a winner.

MMA/Kickboxing/Muay Thai belts earned by kicking, punching and destroying for money. It's the best "teacher" you ever had vs the best fighter you've ever seen. The goal=knock his/her ass out, just don't kill each other.

  • Brutal Thai Boxer Vs Tae Kwon Do Noob

  • @thefool5000

i bet u dont know the difference between tkd and muy thai or why he lost from the start

but i asume with ure intelligence the word noob is the best way to discribe all of ure feelings and ure intelligence u learned from ure daddy's

  • @stuiification ure rite

  • @stuiification the tkd guy is a noob.

  • @Zenthos01

same reply to u my friend but i will add u need to work on ure creativety, but youtube is the best spot to learn how to argue since we wont laugh with u that hard like in ure real life goodluck to u

  • @stuiification I don't understand how your comment is related to my comment....

and just in case you didn't read my comment properly the tkd guy really IS a noob

  • @Zenthos01

listen in tkd we dont kick below belt that tkd guy may be a nab but he had some real hard kicks on the leg that cut hes blood streaming so he can't use his leg well i had a fight with a muy thai guy and same happend to me i could barely stand up i cause i'm not used to reciee kicks like that i dont understand why u say he is a noob if he has no chance from the start agaisnt that brute force leg kicks so plze enlight me why u are so sure he is a noob

  • @stuiification the tkd guys is not even a tkd guy.... don't even call him that hes not even a fighter he's just an idiot.

  • @thefool5000 Which means it's about which fighter is stronger and not which art is stronger.

  • @ymk19 In the majority of cases Muay Thai builds a stronger fighter than TKD. Muay thai is a much better art because its focus is power and conditioning. TKD has to much flair, not enough substance.
