Looks good man! However having your center stage behind the TV is sort of counter-productive. You are cancelling out a ton of sound that way. Regardless it looks and sounds great!

That's a really nice surround setup you've built mate! What about seeing if you can paint them in a high gloss colour? Or even metallic? Aren't the high end speakers covered in some sort of laminate to make them shiny?

for the cutting your self part go to a wood working shop and buy a steal strait edge and clamps. thats what i use

Nice job you're doing....but.....but....but...­.. try a better camera to record..it seems your camera does not pick bass... wanna suggestion?... try a Kodak Playsport, or Kodak Playfull and you will have good audio.

I just use circular saw for angles.... :) and your plane ain't sharp if u can slide your finger on that blade! and is that mdf? my 22mm mdf always breaks when i use screws so i started to just use glue and small nails

@ronniethepoodle When crewing MDF board u must pre drill the holes ...

whit 2 diffrents sets of drills , 1 smaller 1 (this 1 is gonna go into the board thats u are fitting the other board whit) . the biggeer 1 shuld be used into the board u are fitting ,, bc the board u are setting are only gonna get pressure from the screwhead,

Really sorry for doing this but i like to give my experience ,because i take alot, any way holding the gear wears out the Synchromesh .

It will look retarded but try putting the tv on the center speaker :S

Makes me want to go work on my HT :( ,i still have to buy the rears and the sub-woofer with the amp,am doing each speaker with its built in amplifier.

Looking awesome! I just wouldn't have put that center channel behind your tv, The reflecting image is going to be poor from all the surfaces it has to hit and bounce off of before it reaches your ears. Get that out at ear level and 5 stars! I'm looking forward to seeing this completed.

i have build some costume piano black speakers at school a few months ago i could leave a vid response to show you how they look but what i did to make them like that was just glosss black straypaint and some clear coat overtop of that it was that easy! =] some people said it is really hard do piano black but i didnt find it but myn isnt a true piano black but it looks damn good. thanks repy if u havea question. love watching ur vids
