Scratch my last comment... this thing doesn't work for me! I just bought this exact webcam, downloaded Macam, and it wouldn't work on my iBook G4. In fact, according to the Macam website, this webcam isn't even supported by Macam, so how did he get it to work in this video!?

BTW, the Quickcam Vision Pro can't record directly at 720p HD. It records at 960x720, not 1280x720. You have to record at 1280x960 (1.3mp), and then crop it to 1280x720. I have the Quickcam Pro 9000, and if I want HD (for now) I just export it as HD in Movie Maker.

My newest videos are now in HD. I'd appreciate it if people could come watch it.

I have a quickcam pro 9000. I was wondering if there is another software I can use with this webcam besides the logitech software to record video and good quality audio? cause in the logitech software I record video with the webcam of course and audio through my audio interface via USB2.0 the volume is barely audible when done recording... anything else I can use? sony vegas pro ? WMM?

Try to download "Debut Video Capture Software". Just google it, and find it free on the internet. Aside from video, it could also capture live screen shots. I'm currently recording my audio at 41khz, 128 bit, stereo, compressed to mp3 using Line 6 Toneport audio interface and it sounds superb. You can also tweak the audio record settings. Good Luck! My Logitech quickcam DID too, but I fixed it. If you have a laggy logitech webcam go to the quickcam toolbar, click on change settings and then in the webcam tab uncheck low light boost. It's a real video lagger....

Yeah, using just 1 webcam seems to hog a decent amount of resources. I wasn't sure if it was possible to run more than 1 webcam on 1 pc at a time with either multiple open coppies of the same software, or multiple different softwares. The nice thing though, is you dont need a clear picture for a security camera, unless your trying to incriminate someone. For casual viewing of remote locations for entertainment, it is fun.

I'm currently using a Logitech QuickCam Express/GO worth $30 bucks and it sucks mostly because of the horrible light in my house I have had a creative NX Pro and a 20 no name brand webcam which is actually my fav cam because it seems to it produces the best quality but it can't clip on to a screen so its a a pain to setup I'm been thinking about getting a QuickCam Vision Pro but I am no sure its gonna stand up to my standards without proper lighting so yea keep up the good work I'll ttyl

I have a Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 It's the only webcam I personally have ever owned but I used my friends Logitech QuickCam Communicate MP. I prefer the QuickCam Pro though because you can get different Video Effects for it and the MP is limited in what effects you get.
