@1madason You're the one who needs to do more homework. Go to the website of the International Playing Card Society. I've done my homework on tarot cards and they were really made for games.

there is no right or worng way to read the tarot if the reader feels more comfortable laying the cards like that its their choice i personaly use the same method as this vid and i get accurate readings so it really is about wat the reader feels more comfortable with

@Tarockspieler This is one thought another is they come from Egypt and is a guide to spiritual path to enlightenment in the esoteric mysteries that spans the entire globe. Some look at it this way and don't use it for divination but it could be used psychologically which is what most tarot divination today is anyway as a way to introspectivly look inside oneself.
i got that set, it was 35 pounds and came with the rider waite small newish ones and a crawly thoth deck which i dont really like but it has a good book so its cool

You do realize you're laying out the cards incorrectly, don't you?
I know you have it facing "the audience" since the tower is on the left of you.... so that's not what I mean.
After you lay out cards 1 and 2, you should lay card 3 at the bottom, and then go clockwise. You went bottom, top, left, right. That's wrong.
