@RansomCowboy You are sadly mistaken as somone who has owned a dakota, an 2008 F-150 and A Silverado, and now extremely happily a Nissan Titan i will tell you if you think those ford chevy and dodges out do Nissan your foolish....a titan will out do all those trucks in every catogory with the exception of gas Mileage, the reason people dont like them as much is simply because they are not as well known because they have only been manufactured since 2004....the are by far the best truck out there

I don't think anyone is copying the Titan..it would be the last full size truck the others would want to copy. The cool thing about the Titan though is that if you get one its kinda cool because they are rare. I mean look at the sales figures per month/year on the Titan. Its kinda like buying a contemporary collectors item.
does the storage compartment over the glove box remove the airbag??? seems like a flawed design and I drive a 1997 dakota and its awesome. if you want a dakota go back befor 2000 and buy a 5.2l or a 5.9 new dakotas are ugly dodge is killing the classic looks they used to have to boxes and ugly fake ram air hoods its disgusting and they erased the r/t package for dakotas sorry but that is bullshit

No way, the new look for the '08 and '09 is the meanest Dakota we've seen yet. Gone are the sleek and sexy curves, which have now been replaced by strong angles and sharp lines. The original Dakotas looked cheap, the second-generation (my favorite, by the way) looked tame and fast. The generation before this Dakota looked glitzy and pretentious. I mean, they tried to pull off the ultra-massive look, but it was all blown to hell when you saw the actual size of the truck. This one is better!
