I'd have to disagree with the last poster, even though I know this isn't meant to be a debate board. Rukia and Ichigo have more of a brother sister relationship because both of them made each other's lives better, but not romantically. One might say the same for Renji as well, but parts of the manga certainly seem to point towards them instead ((I don't want to spoil anything if people are only seeing the anime on Adult Swim, but I can back up my side.)).

Oi. I made this video and I don't think Rukia will end up with either of them (and I'm current on the manga and anime and the OVA and Memories of a Nobody"). To be honest, as much as Renji cares about her, I do not see their relationship going past the borders of what it already is, simply because of the family she was adopted into and the fact that Bya-kun would KICK RENJI'S ASS for touching his sister :D

I agree with you that she won't end up with either of them for a few reasons. On Ichigo's part, Inoue is interested in him and Renji because partially what you mentioned and the fact that Bleach probably won't delve too far into being a romance anime passed Ichigo and Inoue and scattered hints for other characters like Nanao and Shunsui. I should have mentioned that I just like to think of Renji and Rukia as a canon couple. I don't think it will happen, but I would certainly squee if it did.

I'd squee is Renji and Ichigo were canon.... After all the subtext in "Memories of a Nobody" and the beginning of the rescue mission for Inoue (if you haven't read the manga yet, you'll see what I mean)... Kubo is a total fanboy.

I'm gonna disagree with you their. yes its true that Byakuya might kick Renji's ass for being with Rukia, but if this would ever happen. Renji might beat Byakuya, and therfor Byakuya will have more respect for Renji and will belive he is capable of taking care of her and prtecting her....

great vid! loved it, even though I love the idea of Renji&rukia I must say that I think rukia will end up with ichigo. I've seen a lot of anime in my time, I think Renji really likes Rukia, but she's more into Ichigo because he's a lot like that lieutenant she liked ( can't remember his name). I think Ichigo really likes her too, so I think she just has to choose. (notice that Renji and Ichigo always fight when Rukia's around)
