  • I wore a special gown and they put these things on me. I had a yellow fall risk bracelet.

  • wow

  • What's that cream used for?

  • @lifesaver173 It's EMLA, it numbs your skin. I requested that when I had my surgery earlier this year since I was really scared of the IV needle.

  • my tonsils were taken out when I was 12 or 13....

  • A dentist takes your tonsils out right?

  • @AmmoBravo

No, an otolaryngologist, also known as an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Surgeon takes out your tonsils and adenoids.

  • i have fluid in my eustation tube please tell me how to cure it or i will have to go for a surgery !!!

  • If your doctor recommends surgery, you'll probably need it. ENTs put in ear tubes to relieve fluid from the inside of the ear. It's well known that ENTs make more money in their clinics than they do operating, so if they recommend a surgery for you, they probably mean it.

It's a pretty minor procedure. Don't sweat it.
