Im glad parents arent allowed in the operating room. My parents always treat me like a baby but im already 15. I can handle a lot of things on my own. im not afraid of strangers or any of that malarky
They say u ain't aloud ur parents or guardian in the operation room? When I had my operation for my teeth my mum came in and my other op on my teeth my dad came in.
If your doctor recommends surgery, you'll probably need it. ENTs put in ear tubes to relieve fluid from the inside of the ear. It's well known that ENTs make more money in their clinics than they do operating, so if they recommend a surgery for you, they probably mean it.

What's that cream used for?
lifesaver173 7 months ago
@lifesaver173 It's EMLA, it numbs your skin. I requested that when I had my surgery earlier this year since I was really scared of the IV needle.

They wear hospital pajamas in the OR and you get medicine through the IV. I added more questions. I breathed air into a balloon.

A dentist takes your tonsils out right?

@AmmoBravo
No, an otolaryngologist, also known as an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Surgeon takes out your tonsils and adenoids.

It's a pretty minor procedure. Don't sweat it.
