This makes zero sense to me. Why would anyone want to make interest free loans? Nobody works to do anything if there is no profit in it. No interest, no profit. Only the potential for loss when people refuse to pay back their loan.

It's an interesting concept but It's flawed. You are presupposing that those who are in need will eventually be able to pay back the loans as their fortunes turn around. There are many sick or disabled who will never get well, these people need help survive. I also disagree with the idea that the left wing is needy . The left favors helping the needy because we are more empathetic. In the US there are 47 empty houses for every 1 homeless person. If you take out greed the resources are there.

The only time limit that can be applied is "as soon as POSSIBLE". No arbitrary time limit can be set.

Pretty sure this idea would be breaking U.S. laws to establish another currency. The bartering or trading system is commonly used by the poor in the U.S. ...which I think is the future......and my investments go to liquid assets.

Do you understand that inflation is an increase in the money supply which steals from the value of existing money? For easy calculating, if they double the money supply and give bailouts to big bankers or poor beggars, it cuts the purchasing power of all money in half. It's a decent idea; if you can get enough people behind it, the weight of numbers will make it work! BUT, the evil 'protection racket-style', Goldman-Sachs-run banking system we have now, are unlikely to just stand aside for it, however righteous it is!!
