very true... but I got mine for 1500, and I can put it up for sale on ebay, used... and pull in probably 2k for it, looking at the auctions. buying it new from their site, yes, it would be expensive, somewhere in the 3400 range or so for my specs I think. but when you order a mac book pro for 3grand, and I can get a laptop for 1300 new from acer, that has proven to out benchmark, ram/cpu/gpu every part of the mac... makes your head twitch, but whatever.
