  • haha a cagiva moto 500 wait till u can control a cbr 1000 id only love to see u drive one u would shit your pants in about 5 minutes hahahahahahahahaha

  • Id like to know where you can get one for only 2000$ xD

  • @1ImRight2YourNot You can find three or four of them listed in my city on craigslist for around $2000, all in good shape with low mileage.

  • I used this to practice for my road closed circuit exam and it was awesome! Loved the feel, sound, but I don't know how the size compares with normal size sport bikes... because all bikes were 250-500 cruisers and a cbr125r. I'm roughly 5'11, weighing 140lbs. Also, I wont be going higher than 110km/h. Any thoughts? I verification if this is good for me, THANKS!

  • @ih8momjokes1 It's a great first bike. I did get bored of it a little quickly and upgraded to the CBR250R. You can find great deals used.

  • I'm in canada ... This bike is not recommended for highways?

  • @gyghost It will do highways, but merging might be a bit of a white knuckle affair. Other than that, they're fine bikes. Super light. You can find them dirt cheap on Craigslist too.

  • looks boring...

    lol

  • was this video taken in new zealand

  • you would think that would make the engine sound a but nicer

    on a CBR

  • Hi. I`m new to Motorcycles and I was wondering if you would recommend this bike to a beginner??? Also they have the exact same bike @ my local HONDA dealership for €1495.00!!!

  • @xxPanteraxxx I think he made it pretty clear its a beginners bike. Several times in fact. :)

  • @xxPanteraxxx Hey, I am in the same boat as you but have done some research so assuming you know what CC means, 125 CC isn't very big so its not very powerful compared to say...600 CC. Nonetheless I would say its defiantly a great bike for a beginner aslong as you're not planning to go on highways. I have been looking at this one and Kawasaki Ninja 250 which is also a beginner bike but has obviously more power.

  • @begley09 Of course I know what CC means. And nope, I don`t plan on taking it on the motorway/highway, or anything. Just finding a bit hard to choose which bike I would actually like, but thanks for your feedback and let me know what bike you decided purchase :D

  • @begley09 If you're planning to ride with friends that have their own, bigger motorcycles, then it might be a good idea to get the Ninja 250 instead. I probably would have kept my CBR125R if I only rode on my own.

  • 24 thousand grand!>>!>!>!>!>>>!> grand=1000 thousand=1000

    240,000,000 lolololololol pesos???

  • @iH8MomJokes 24000 rand, the south african currency is rand. 24,000 rand = about 3800 USD

  • boring bike

  • is there a man dying or what the hell is moving in the background from 4:38 to the end

  • hey nice video im riding a yamaha wr125x but hey did u ever thought about crashing with t-shirt and shorts?

  • so ,this is a great bike for begginers right??

im considering of getting this after i get my driving license!

  • Hey, are gearshifts easy to learn? I'm almost 15 and in Finland we are allowed to drive 125cc bikes at the age of 16, so I'm just doing some research. I have never tried a bike with a gearbox. And is this a good bike for beginners or would you recommend something else?

  • @sebbobroffa you can't find a better beginners' bike and shifting gears on a motorbike is much easier than in a car in my opinion. I've been driving cars for nearly two years and still stall more often than I ever did on a motorbike, you use your left hand so its much easier to control

  • ic i want to get this exact bike nxt march its cheap and good for begginner i hear, im so excited for nxt spring :D

  • how much do it eat driving averange 120km/h on 100km?

  • @baklis007 Fuel economy drops quickly once you ride past 7000 rpm. Even so, it should still be very high (70 mpg+?) for a motorcycle.

  • @baklis007 i would usually put in 15 dollars for a tank, let me think... thats about 15 litres, or just under 4 gallons. that would get me 100km, or about 60 miles. so about 18mpg or so i guess...

  • @procax0 15litres per 100 km?

    impossiblo dude...

  • @stormer4ever not if you constantly drive in the high rev range at the limiter

  • @procax0 the tank capacity of honda cbr is 10 litres.

and even two stroke bikes of 250cc going at high speeds above 100 constantly dont spend more then 7.7 litres per 100kms

  • its about 260 kilometres per tank on average speed

so my guess would be about 200 kilometres per tank while going maximum speed(impossible)

  • food for thought, you are supposed to apply equal pressure to both brakes when coming to a stop or slowing down. if you only used your front brakes in a turn then you could easily drop your bike. safety first:p

  • ur GAY

  • 125cc is NOT very sporty!

  • @74orangebeetle it is if your 17 and never been on a bike :P

  • hello, is that safe to ride a honda 125r without the knowledge of "rev matching"?

  • @kinwai2727 You can ride without rev matching. Experiment with rev matching once you are comfortable with the bike.

  • 4:18 ghost :D

  • are you statisfied with the exhaust's loudness and it's sound's deepness? i hope you got what i mean

  • Well that looks rather nice for south africa, i imagine black people raping and pillaging white farmers

  • @redcoat59 hahahahahahahaha

  • would you say its a lite bike? how much does it weigh roughly? thankx man your videos been a great help as im looking to buy :)

  • @TheIntense93 yes, weighs around 120kg, the 250cc I had after this was already 160kg. It's very light and quick around town and corners

  • is it automatic or shift????!!!

  • hope you made a good recovery after your accident! ride on!

  • 2011 model

  • im thinking of getting one do you guys recomend this

  • @prohacker883 For beginning, yes

  • @prohacker883 Take the motorcycle course if you haven't already. It might save you the pain of dropping a brand new bike. The 125R is great for cities, but it might be difficult to catch up on the freeway if you ride with buddies that have 600+ bikes.

  • @sga1988 1,77m, or 5'11"

  • hey dude i was wondering how tall are you ?

  • @heeheeboom lol I know right!

  • good video :)

  • Haha, less than 5 dollars to fill up........not anymore!

  • its a single cylider 4 stroke, you numpty. try an old honda cb125t, their a twin 4stroke and would keep up with that, even though their 25 years old.

  • @billduke251273 ye it does say on the vid... if you can read ?

  • its a single cylider 4 stroke, you numpty.

  • I did not have sex wid de prawns!

  • Its not a 2 Zylinder

  • I found this same bike for $1900 US, my first bike and I don't really know how to ride that well.. would it be a good starter?

  • @MadDogMeh

I've heard it's a very good bike for a starter. Don't worry, it's not too hard to ride a motorbike. As they say "it's as easy as riding a bike" :D

Be more worried about how well you know the traffic rules.

  • @onedOLlarDuDE Sweet, thanks man, but when I test drove it a little, it seemed slow, so I'm kind of leaning towards a 2008 NINJA 250R. But thanks for your advice :)

  • @MadDogMeh From what I've heard they are very easy to ride, I ride a japanese 125cc but it's in a cruiser style, and that is VERY easy to ride as well. I admire you for getting a 125 because you're a starter, I've heard so many horror stories about young Americans buying CBR1000 cc bikes for their first bike, nice to know there are still sensible people in America!

  • The old ex250s were hideous. I learned to ride right before they updated them! I also have Muscular Dystrophy which I was not being treatedfor at the time so I was limited to scooters by more than choice :( . After my condition improved I went to a standard bike (ex500, yea ugly too but the price was great) I still love scooters though. I own a Suzuki Burgman 400 and in a few more months ill be buying a new motorcycle, maybe a ninja 650r or or suzuki sv650.

  • Wish we had these in the US when I was just learning, only scooters in this range here. I see too many beginners seriously injured because they start on a CBR600rr instead. We need better beginner laws.

  • @cmfernandez9283 When did you learn to ride? I think the Kawasaki EX250 was around for a while. That was my other choice for my first bike.

  • HOLY SHIT! 3:10-3:15, that was a quick u-turn

  • hey dude i just bought one and its great to ride. the thing that i don't is the exhaust and engine but all in all it is a great bike from Honda

  • Jen to pěkně protůruj za studena debile ,D

  • Not stupid wind. Cape Doctor.

  • good effort, nice job with the camera work too.

    fookin prawns!

  • How tall are you? I am 190cm (6'2 feet) tall, is it too small for me?

  • @galten123 im the same height as you and i sat on the yamaha yzf 125 which is slightly bigger and it fit me fine, the honda should be fine for us both XD

  • i subbd motorbikes ftw :D

    :D

  • jesus christ you turn around fast :o lol nice video i am planning to buy one this has helped alot thanks :)

  • @Althegreat64 haha

  • how does the ninja 250r go bro?

  • im having flashbacks to District 9 =P

  • passenger brake lol

  • By far the ugliest 125 money can buy, and it is very unequipped comared to other 125's. I have a 1993 Cagiva Mito, which has upside down forks, a seven speed gearbox, a front disk the size of the rim, a hydraulic clutch, a rear wheel twice the width of the rear on the honda - and the list goes on...

True this is a learners bike, but what about when you get your full license? you want something that can keep up with everyone else, without having to spend more money - bad buy my friend, bad buy.

  • @MotoXprt Your first bike isn't necessarily your last bike, unless you get into a horrific accident. You can always sell your bike when you want to move up.

  • I love how the final shot of the bike is repeated, you can the background moving in a funny way :) great review

  • @3:23 please dont shift from a high gear to neutral after a complete stop. im getting chills in my teeth to hear the gearbox scream. normally, you should shift when the bike is running gradually based on the speed and the speed you want to go.

  • dont ever review your bike again this sucked

  • Chicken legs

  • Also.. Doing stoppies when you only just got a bike AND when you are a novice rider.. isnt really a good idea.

You need to slow down and relax on the braking. =/

  • Ah a fellow South African! Howzit man!

  • You only have 125 cause you are previsional I drive gold wings I love to see u drive 1

  • Take the restrictor out then you will n going fast

  • @MegaFeargal Bullshit, that Honda engine is sluggish and weak. If you have Cagiva Mito like me, then you can get 33bhp when de-restricted, and 107mph, with ape shit acceleration!

  • you said you "wouldn't recommend taking a passenger on this bike" yet you didn't explain why you think so and why there is a passenger seat/foot rest if passengers aren't recommended?

  • @mmmcr00 its only a 125cc (13hp), its not that powerful so its going to strain the engine putting extra weight, not to mention this bike is relatively small in size so it could be a little cramped.

  • Wow 3:15, locking it up! Hate to see it pull up hard in the wet!

  • Hey, did you mod your 125? Both your head lights are on, but here in Canada our stock 125's have one side as the regular light and the other side for the high beams.

  • @Dayao12 High beams use both lights, regular uses just the one side.

  • is this a twist and go bike? or do you need to know how to change gear?

  • @mike2ws its a manual transition so yes you need to change the gears. but its not even that hard.

  • this is more a bicycle than a motorbike..

  • Is this grand canaria? or any other of canary islands? Looks just like grand canaria :) But i'm gettin one soon :) But is this easy to tune up? I mean if it has bad accerlation, it could be tuned. and is this good for me as i have experience on a moped (50cc), Does that count? :)

  • @AdZeTraCeur in the very first sentence i say it's Cape Town, which is South Africa. it's not too powerful, so not problem coming from 50cc, can;t upgrade too much though

  • @procax0 Ok thank you.

  • Is this grand canaria? or any other of canary islands? Looks just like grand canaria :) But i'm gettin one soon :) But is this easy to tune up? I mean if it has bad accerlation, it could be tuned.

  • Is this on canary islands? Looks EXACTLY like grand canaria. But i'm getting one soon :)

  • I want a Ninja motorcycle for college!!

  • It comes with a gauge for speed?

Oh yes, that would be a 'speedometer'.

    :-)

  • Just picked the same bike 1 day ago, WHAT A BLAST. It pulls all the way to the redline without excessively throwing you... just an amazing bike. Will post videos shortly.

    Ride safe.

  • dude mind if i ask im just 18 and im about to get a motorcycle license anyway wat i wanted 2 ask was tat does this bike has 2 brakes front and back and clutch ??

  • Thanks for posting. I'm debating between this and a Ninja 250R for my first bike.

  • lol. sexy bike

  • relly considering buying a second hand version of this, Thoughts?

  • @kav996 Do you have license restrictions? If not, then go for a Ninja 250R instead. I find the extra power of the Ninja more reassuring while not overwhelming.

If you go for a second hand bike, make sure you get it inspected before you buy it.

  • this guy if funny as hell and law follower. "im so worry about speed limit." if you have a bike you fuck the law ans speed limit. thats an attitude of real biker

  • @bykashka75 your an idiot. rawr im a real biker i do 160 on the highway just so an old lady can pull out infront of me and i die instantly, rawr im a real biker. ....shut the fuck up and get over your teenage angst.

  • @twelvehaha go read some bed stories

  • why not take a passenger???

  • You really need to invest in some racing gear or atleast reinforced jeans and a leather jacket. One rash at 50km/h+ and you'll officially be scarred for life, with the possibility of never using your arms or legs agan. You might get warm in the gear, but you wont get dummied if you're taken down by another motorist.

Keep in mind, bike safety isn't all about YOUR safety. It's the dipshits on the road that don't respect bikers

  • @DistraughtYouth Very true, this was days after I got it, I later did get proper gear and when I upgraded to the Ninja 250R got a full leather bike jacket. I always wore helmet and gloves and mostly jeans and a thick jacket. About the scarred for life part: 3 and a half months ago I was in a collision with another vehicle on the Ninja 250R, broke my left thigh bone (Femur) in about 3 places, as well as my collar bone, some bad road rash on my left leg. In long pants. Still limping

  • @procax0 That's brutal man, and it's exactly what I meant. People don't respect bikers. They don't understand that we're exposed to the elements and get ripped up with the slightest of contact. Hope all is well though =)

  • @procax0 hey do you have any videos of your ninja 250r????

  • @DistraughtYouth So right, I'm passing through hell to get my parents to buy me my first bike (Which hopefully will be a NSR125) And they can't stop warning me about the other drivers etc. It's not how I ride they're worried about, but yes, about the other drivers.

  • what year model it is? 2008 or 09?

  • just a tip don't wear shorts and put on a jacket u dick or else u going to get hurt plus its a pretty fast 125cc and its only small 125cc 4 stroke engine so its not going to be a rocket . : P

  • you need ride Honda not speak shit :( shame on you

  • such a joke accent. i like it tho

  • i already own a yamaha 125ttr dirtbike. when im 16 (1 year) do you think this will be a good bike, or should i spend a bit more money and get the kawasaki ninja 250r?

  • a very pretty scooter.

  • i was wondering about gettin one of these bt i was also wundrin if its worth spending more to get the yamaha yzfr125. any ideas? also are the 2 strokes much faster when restricted (im in the UK by the way)

  • I bought one of these for my very first bike back in 2004 brand new! Was ok, but I moved on quick, needed more power, bought an '00 CBR600F after 3 months of buying it!!

  • 3:20 can u even drive?

  • aprilla rs 125 is bettter and way more fun and alot faster only downside is it needs more maintainace.

  • Lol passenger brake...imagine that.

  • Gonna buy that bike too ;)

But i will only drive with 80km/h :)

Cause i will be 16years old then :P

  • @SroPoiSeN i might buy this bike or the kawasaki ninja 250r when im 16 to :)

  • 4:00 is funny

  • no riding gear...bad idea :(

but youre review is ok :)

  • amazing. very good riding for som1 that rode first ever a few days b4

  • @ExperimentalNoise

So here we have a fish, it is equipped with 2 fins so it won't go fast even though it has lost some weight.

  • It's 4 stroke RIGHT!

  • @Reqrezentin i haven't seen any 2 stoke 125cc's, i don't belieave they exist

  • Those are FUN little Bikes! Have Ridden a couple of 'em ... one, a friends equipped with a Hindle exhaust and the other, a training Bike we have as part of our local Motorcycle Training Program. I am a 48 yr old male, a certified Motorcycle Instructor and have in the past owned 650 and 800cc Bikes ... am currently without due to personal circumstances, but am seriously considering the CBR125R as my next Ride ... they are perfect for around town, backroads and commuting and cheap to own and run!

  • if you have some machanical skills you can modify the engine and the last kit i looked at was 195cc from thiland

  • @dashman14 im sorry i just have to say this.

if you have a 1000cc bike does it mean it goes 1000 kilometers an hour?

  • @lyndon7474

no! lool its only a potencial of the motor... loool x)

  • tshirt and shorts not a good idea

  • @vivitar45 I agree, full protection all the way

  • it goes up to 11000 RPM, not 13000RPM. 13 is the max wayyy in the red zone.

OMG!!! Its got footpegs and a rear break and a passenger seat!!! what a lame review.

  • yea the footpeg and rearbreak but i know it has a passenger seat but wats the point if someone else gets on it would be hard for the bike to move i only have a 110cc pcoket bike x22 but moving to a 125 for gettin around and used to clutch btw iam only 15

  • what is your haighet?

  • does 125cc mean it can go 125km? does the louder the exhaust mean the better the bike to?

  • @dashman14 lmao

  • No it can go any speed depending on the tuning/adaptations of the bike. think about it if a 125 could go 125km then a 1000cc could go 1000km !, also its not about how loud the exhaust is it depends on the bike and the exhaust just helps

  • @lauriecanner this bike does 140km/h. 125ccm is the volume of the engine, has nothing to do with speed. for example I don't have this bike anymore. I have a 250cc motorbike now, which drives +/. 175km/h (not 250), but my brother has a 750cc which only goes 210 because its a different style of bike

  • @procax0 So this bike would easily do 90-100km/hr without too much fuss from the engine?

  • @lauriecanner in reality that is not true because the drag at 1000 km would be much more than traveling at 125Km so you would need more power to get to that speed.

  • @were562 re-read i was explaining how you CANT do that :P i agree with you

  • @were562 oops should of read that first lol

  • @lauriecanner your joking right.???? 1000cc is the engine capacity, 1000cc its nothing to do with speed

  • Comment removed

  • @bringerofrage are you stupid? simply re-read what i wrote its saying think about it if a 125 could go 125 then a 1000 could go 1000km which is simply ridiculous. im trying to make a point. If you think im stupid enough to think your 4000cc car can go 4000km/H then your probably as stupid as i thought you were..

  • Before you have a go at me, I am 6'2" and 98kg and ride this bike everyday very easily. My two sons love it also, and my wife rides it when I am on my 1050cc Triumph Sprint. Now i think i have some idea what I am talking about.

  • you all talk like idiot

when you guys dont know what a 125cc 4 stroke can do just shut the fuck up

ive got a chinese bike hj125-7 and it is fully tuned

im sure a can beat a lot 250cc bike as if the are bicycle

    cheers

  • i l0ve the bike i want a 125cc or a vespa50cc

  • Haahahhahaa.

    THIS GUY IS A HOMO.

He is a homo because he rides a 125!! I want everyone to know that you are wasting your time and money getting a 125 !! Start with a 250 then you can upgrade to 500-600-650. If you start with 125 you can upgrade to a 250, and a 250 is still small

The CBR125 has terrible accerleration. It is gutless. It is probley dangerous, considering it has such bad accerleration.

Sure, if you're a child then, yah, get the bike. If you a MAN then DON'T get the bike.

  • @BholeViolater

You are a dumb shit! I thought the point to riding a bike is to enjoy the freedom of two wheels. It doesn't matter what one rides as long as they get what they want out of the ride.

All you have done is prove to the readers here is you are dick head. If it is the only bike one has ridden thats ok. (poolbor)

everyone has to start on something. This is safe and user friendly.

PS I love this little bike as much as my Triumph sprint.

  • You remain a dumb shit! Some how i think you are compensating for something. lets just hope its because you are short..........................

  • My baby penis has nothing to do with this. I don't have to compensate for my baby dick because I ACCEPT IT !!!!

I still remain firm that the CBR125 is for VAGINAS !!!

NOT EVE WORTHY FOR A GUY WITH A BABY DICK !!!

  • @BholeViolater I said nothing about your penis. I don't care that you don't like the bike. What I take offence at is the incredibly savage way you attacked this guy and his bike. You are an offensive human being. You could have simply said. "I don't like this bike it is small and slow".To yell "HOMO" is offensive.

  • @BholeViolater you sir... drink your own wee.

  • so guess this is a great bike to start with?? i wants to learn so bad! but i dont know where to start...

  • @doublearon86 its a good bike to start with ive got one but when you get used to it its a tad slow if you want one thats a bit faster get an nsr 2 stroke should do sort of 90 mph looks simlar to the cbr just a bit older and faster .

  • @doublearon86

Start by NOT getting this bike. Get a 250 instead. You will be very happy that you did that.

You will be kicking yourself in the nutts for wasting your time and money on a 125.

I am an experienced rider. I know what I am talking about.
