I don't care as much that he was pro choice. I personally am pro choice. The issue is that he campaigned as a pro choice candidate and claims to have governed as pro life. My issue is that he lied about what he would do when he was elected. If you campaign on one stance you should govern from the same. How can you really trust him to support any position he takes once he is elected?

He did not lie about what he would do. He preserved the MA law as it was but once he became pro-life, he made sure that the pro-choice adgenda did not worsen. I believe Mitt Romney is a trustworthy candidate.

I'm confused. He promised that he would preserve the laws of Massachussettes as Governor. I've looked hard at what he did, and from what I've seen (I've been trying hard to find exception) he never changed the laws. But he did not support EXTRA measures for pro-choice. He never promised to pass more pro-choice laws! So, which promise did he break? I used to believe this stuff until I did research on it.
