Gyrl UR hair is fizz if I should say so myself. I've been natural now since Oct. 2010. Relaxer free since last April 2010. My hair hasn't grown alot since then. just able to make a puff where the whole band will fit. Anyway I LOVE the style, will be glad when my hair grows.

Since you tie it up at night to preserve the style, how about tying it down in the morning for a few minutes to make it lie down again. Of course tie down loosely for a few minutes. It's worth a try...

I use this method (except i use a satin scrunchie) and then I put a plastic cap on my hair {like people did when they had jeri curls..LOL}with my satin bonnet. My hair stays moisturized through out the whole week and the curls are fluffy.

I actually gave the eco gel another shot due to your first video and it worked out soooo well!!! To refresh my hair in the morning I just unwrap it and hope in in the shower. I dont get it wet but the steam from the shower does all the work for me! It falls exactly how it needs to and I still have my hold because Im not wetting it directly. You could also try and see if that works for ya!!! Take care!

I do something similar but with ponytail holders since my hair isn't long enough to pinapple. Adding a small spritz of water brings it right back to life in the morning.

I use to do the pineapple method, but because I didn't want my hair to be stiff and the top of my hair. I do a low puff at night and cover. Seems to work great without a lot of minipulation.

Thats a really good idea! Especially for people like me....cuz I dont sleep cute either. And don't worry about the faces- your an honest person- if its not working for you, you just express it.
