@Vanool35 Because the 13th floor superstition really only caught on in North America. In China, they oftentimes to skip the 4th floor although not a frequently as Americans skip the 13th floor.
I first saw this unique interior floor indicator design in a hotel in Zhuhai, Guangdong, New China. It dates back to the early 1980s and bears the sign "COMPUTER CONTROL". It was very, very long ago.
Until some years ago, I came across this floor indicator again back in Hong Kong, at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This time it was on a Toshiba.
So, this design is probably specific of Japanese elevator products, and probably a few Korean ones utilizing Japanese technology.
I first saw this unique interior floor indicator design since in 2006 at Universal Commercial House, North Point, HK. The interior floor indicator design was same of video.
Two years after ago, I saw the interior floor indicator design again, at Tung Cheong Commercial Building, Jordon, HK. There have bears the sign "COMPUTER CONTROL". But the maintenance work of the elevator has been contracted out to a small repairs firm Jekco.
I really like the hall fixtures, apart from the fact that the bells only ring once, despite direction of travel. I really like how they flash on and off. I have only seen one elevator do that in America.
I stayed here on a school trip. The elevators kept closing too early and crushing us.

I like the way that the lights under the floor flash as it's passing.
And why do they show the 13th floor?
