It doesn't weigh your hair down and makes it very smooth and shiny. I don't use any other products anymore other than conditioner and hair masks. This specific brand is very affordable and I got better results than the expensive one. My hair is very dry and kinky, but when I put it on it's like a miracle and helps w/ the damage caused by flat ironing. GREAT!

if you buy argan oil check the ingredients. if it has silicone and a ton of other stuff then it's not pure and you might as well use Frizz-ease or some other product like that because that is what you are getting..just silicone

Thats not pure! its all chemical. Maybe only 5% argan oil.

Pura d'or argan oil is better and is one of the best now.

@DurbanChic its probably diluted with additives.pure argan isnt that cheap because of intense labour for them to get the oil.a cheap 4 oz pure argan oil should be almost 30$ .the oil should say cold pressed oil.i never get oils unless it says coldpressed on labels or i'll contact the oil companies if it doesnt say that on labels.

There are several kinds. One is for the hair, to strengthen & protect & bring out natural darker tones in colour. The kind for skin is said to make you tan deeper& is also good for dry skin& eczema. There is another kind that is meant to be eaten, as a dressing for a salad, on toast, etc.

I watched local Berber women make Argan oil when I was in Morocco. They remove a nut-like thing from the Argan fruit & crack the shells by hand with a tiny hammer. Inside there are a few tiny kernals that they roast & then put thru a stone screwpress to extract oil.

They sell this at Sally's Beauty Supply, ladies. I hesitate from buying because the ingredients really are for your HAIR only. I like multi-purpose products so I will rather buy the oil from Janelle Beauty or Gleau. They're all natural and absorb well.

@quitejaded I buy oils (argan oil, almond oil, coconut oil) in organic stores 100% pure and natural only. You can never go wrong with the 100% natural products, and use them on your skin, hair etc. Argan oil is said to be a secret weapon against cellulite btw :)

@dinavienna Yes, but the argan oil product this girl is using is not 100% natural at all. Check the ingredients. I wish I can find an all natural oil mixture in beauty stores, but I always have to buy them online.
