  • why do they all use the TS9 in these videos. the TS808 is a much more vintage sounding pedal.

  • that is very true. finally someone who understands my point of view. they probably dont have it because they might be trying to advertise thier tube screamer, or can't get thier hands on one ;)

  • @aksnowman11 this is not the question, the question is, why use a pedal if u can cranked the amp?

  • @aksnowman11 Actually, if you are going to get a tubescreamer these days, I think you have to get a "modified" version. I have a Keeley modified TS9, which actually uses the same chip as the vintage 808. Sounds golden, but I hear stock TS9's definitely do not sound golden. I don't know what pedal he has here, but it may be modified. If anyone is considering getting a tubescreamer, I HIGHLY recommend spending the extra money for a Keeley modified version, or Analogman. Cheers.

  • Slide is one thing I just can't get the hang of. Sounds good bro!

  • @telecasterman18 with your picking hand(no pick, just fingers) try using thumb to mute the bass strings, and first three fingers to mute the unwounds, pick whichever string you want to play and leave the others down. Also, u need to have a finger behind the slide and touching the strings on your fretting hand. Those things should cut down unwanted noise. Now to develop phrasing technique you should try to pickout melodies you are familiar with, imitate vocalists, and work on playing one strng

  • sounds saggy and laggy the amp i mean

  • I think it's open G -

so instead of EADGBE its DGDGBD.

  • Checked it, it's right, open G!

  • perfect tone!!!!!.. The tuning is either open G-or E-possibly D???

  • do you have a different guitar tunning can you tell me wich one it is?

    awesome video

  • well, as you can hear it´s just fine!

  • nice one!

  • does this amp have an effects loop?

  • no... why would you want that? guitar > effect > amp.

  • because i have this volume attenuator thing i bought off of ebay that uses the effects loop to preseve tone but make the volume lower

its really cheap but it works and i was wondering if i would be able to use it

its not like ur standard tube screamer or anything like that

  • sei un grande!!!!!!!

  • Liquid, Pure, Golden delta makes-you-melt tone.

Gotta go out and find a Tube Screamer now...

  • Ah the good ol faithful Super Reverb and a Tube Screamer, what more can you ask for. I love it, now I gotta go out and practice my slide skills cause this Shane just made me jealous.

  • realy good!sounds like a nice country to me jaja

  • Sweet!
