  • Dude you had some seriously sick music in the intro! :)

  • great but i feel the colors are desaturated and the bitmaps quality are less

    but the physics is cooool.

    good luck

  • great~!

  • The animation looks jerky and has tearing.... Is this due to fraps (or whatever recording they did), or is the cocos2d engine just slow?

  • That's just the person who made the animation. They didn't have many frames in the animation.

  • @FrankRizzo6662 It's just the capture. Though, since this was run on way better hardware than the iPhone, you see such high FPS. On a 3GS, the physics samples struggle to run above 10fps with a debug build, not sure about release though.

  • @FrankRizzo6662 i don't notice any tearing on 3gs and ipad2, so i think it's the recording

  • I love it!

  • great, I was planning on making a sprite-heavy game myself and your library gave me is saving so much trouble.

    thank you!

  • Chris Huelsbeck's music! Great Gianna Sisters remix! WOOOOOOOOOOOOT! *THUMBS UP*

  • it's like video toaster for the iphone!

  • Great, i'll definitely try your library. Do you have plan to attend any kind of conference or convention btw?

  • Not for the moment.

What iPhone (or mobile games) conferences do you recommend ?

  • Brilliant, I was literally just thinking about working on this exact project myself. Cocoa isn't particularly suited for making a sprite-blitting engine (though I did manage to get something running with UIImageView), so I figured I had to make my own OpenGL ES wrapper.

    (thanks for doing that)
