I think that the media is one of lifes many curses at least in the hands that it is in right now I mean how long did it take them to tell us we were in a recession before we were in one? now I know that that is not the only reason we are in a "recession" but it is a main factor
If the people of Iraq feel things are getting better for them, then good for them. Unfortunately, the truth is that Islam is now their "national religion", and it says all legislation will be based on Islam. Nothing is ever said about the Christians in Iraq as if they don't matter. They have been systematicaly destroyed. A fundamentalist Islamic government will never be a democracy and they will never be our friends after what we have done to their country. That is the bitter truth.
I know a Christian from Iraq whose family still lives there and has suffered no violence from their Islamic neighbors. Those committing murder and terrorism are the extremists and many of those come from other countries. The fact is that those terrorists are now being killed or captured and their organizations are in disarray. This is not to say that everything is fine now or that we have already won. But if things keep going this way we should see a stable and pacified Iraq soon.
I love positives. I'm positive that Iraq wrote Islam into their constitution as the "national religion". I'm positive that Christians in Iraq have been beheaded and crucified and all their churches burned. I'm positive that those in Iraq live behind cement walls in armed camps. I'm positive that Iraq has 60 billion in oil revenues sitting untouched in American banks while we foot the bill. Yes, there are a lot of positives coming out of Iraq.
Clueless?? The Iraq constitution is online for anyone who want's to read it, especially part two. Also, all legislation shall be based on the Koran, read it!!!!
Christians make up more than 40% of Iraq refugees. This is a fact. They have not been allowed to come here. The ones still in Iraq pretend to be Muslim so they won't be crucified or beheaded. Christian children have been taken right out of school and killed in the spot. Do a little research. I think you would be appalled.
Yes I know their constitution mentions Islam as the national religion but look at turkey which is similar and yet still allows religious tolerance. And while I doubt your exact numbers, I don't doubt that horrible acts of violence have been carried out against MANY different innocent people. But they are not government sanctioned actions and the government (with our help) is fighting against those committing those disgusting acts.
Now wait here just one minute, Mr. man, are you suggesting that the "mainstream" media is intentionally ignoring the good news coming out of Iraq these days?
No no no, I'm sure this is all just a completely understandable oversight on the part of virtually every major newspaper and television network, and that these fine, upstanding, and utterly non-biased news establishments are doing everything in their collective power to rectify this unfortunate situation.
A. if you look the oldest of the videos is from about a week ago.
B. if you weren't too afraid to tape your hideous self and post it on youtube you might understand that it is actually not that simple to get thousands of views in less than a week... but after all if I'm doing such a terrible job how in the world did you find my video and why did you watch it?
C. please stop drinking the bong water and get a job you pathetic troll...
Many times, it's just enough to post your opinion. Who cares if you get a thousand views? You could coochie dance in a lacy pink thong and get a thousand views, but one good opinion, even if not completely researched, is better. You got over a hundred people with more on their minds than lacy pink thong.
Basra with little violence? If i remember correctly when i was there, plenty of violence existed.

The fact is that real estate values in Iraq are going through the roof. If people did not want to live there this would not be so.
Things are turning positive, regardless of the naysayers.
